I agree, it was only 2 years difference. Yeah he shoulda thought about it but at that age you think 2 years is normal. He did break the law so I suppose punishment is due but 10 years?! They should have taken the 2 year age difference into account and made a fairer sentance.

MAYBE you can not read. nobody is saying the law isnt crazy and ten years isnt extreme, but its the law and he broke it , too bad for him, he made some bad choices and since he is at an age that some states consider to be an adult he has to live with his choices and the actions that comes with them. no matter how you look at it, he is guilty. not to mention, he could have left the party or tried to stop what was going on and said "hey guys, look what i found in the night stand, the holy bible, lets all read it"
