I know that it's a old book that's been translated into many different languages.

You know when you spread rumors and it goes around a group of people. When the rumor comes back to you it's a diffferent version because people twist things.

I know I can't trust the news or papers. I know I can't trust a history book. What's so different about a Bible? Because somebody told you that it's a holy book? It's all written by people with agendas.

I understand where you're coming from.

If a kid grows up with a book full of anti-american propaganda, then that kid is most likely going to end up hating America.

If a kid grows up with a Bible and is taught to respect the Holy Book, then that kid will most likely going to end up having respect for the book and will trust the book over anybody.

I could go on forever.
Where do you get your information from???

Yea, In 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. These were copies a thousand years older than any other existing copies. Study of the scrolls has revealed that the Bible hasnt changed in content down through the ages as many skeptics had thought. Anyone can now get access to computer programs that give the original Hebrew and Greek words and the only "changes" have been mande for clarity. For example, the old english translation of 2 Corinthians 12:8 is, "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice...," while a contemporary translation is "Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times..."
