The Pats did a great job of containing Moss though, every time he went long he had at least 2, usually 3 defenders on him. That 73 yarder was great though, and he still didn't have a bad night, 2 catches for 104 yards in the 1st half? That's still pretty impressive. Oh and off topic a little bit, but Saint33, I told you, I think someone else here told you, and now even John Madden and Al Michaels are telling you: there is no way the Vikings are a better team without Moss.

^ one player doesn't make the team...Culpepper can throw to anybody...i think he proved that last year
You're right, one person doesn't make a team, but when you take away a team's best player, it kinda seems unlikely that they will be better off without him

Moss was the most talented player, but Culpepper's more important to the team. Depends on how you look at what defines "best player on the team."

Culpepper's good, no doubt. But the recievers he's throwing to are the ones you have to worry about, and there's no one on that team that comes close to Moss in recieving skills. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

didn't he throw 39 TD's last year? only 13 of them were to Moss

Well I'm a happy man. I had to go to bed early, though, with school and such in the morn. I woke up this morning to hear the interviews with all the Pats players sayin "We could've done this and that and that better," and i was like SHIT! Turned out they won and still are disappointed in themselves. Good sign they aren't getting big-headed.
