Robert Huth is fucking rubbish.I cant understand how he is in the Germany team and what did Mourinho(or was it Ranieri that bought him) see in him.Whats the story with Christoph Metzelder.Is he injured at the moment?Who were centre half for Germany?Huth and who else?

neither can i. well according to klinsmanns logic he is one of the few young german defenders, so he is the team.lol

metzelder was injured, yes. now he is fit again, but he doesnt play for his club regularly.

the other centre half was mertesacker (lol, i bet you dont know him). he was injured as well, for a couple of weeks. basically the same situation as metzelder is currently dealing with.

I think there's tow valid perspectives here. Crouch is technically shit and lacks the actual ability to be in the England set up. If you think otherwise, die. He can't run, his skills with the ball at his feet are average and even though he's almost 7ft he's poor in the air. I read Quinn's name mentioned before. Quinn was porbably better than Crouch is now (he was actually good in the air), but he was still shit.

However, Crouch does add value from a tactical point of view and offers a great alternative. He is awkward to defend against, he can create space and is a needed option with the relatively short strikers England have ie: Rooney, Owen, Defoe etc.

Steve Bruce is desperate to turn round the flagging fortunes of the Birmingham team.

He hits upon the idea to study the coaching methods of Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, as they are the top team.

So Steve heads down south to take in a Chelsea training session but sees nothing that Birmingham don't do in their workouts.

When they break for lunch Steve has a quiet word with Jose, "How did you manage to get the Chelsea boys in such good condition that you are able to stay top of the league by so many points?".

"Well I train them mentally as well as physically" Jose explains. "I keep them on their toes by asking them tough questions that make them think deeply. This keeps them alert and their reflexes razor sharp. Let me give you an example."

He calls over Frank Lampard and asks him a question .

"Frank" he says "He is not your brother, but still he is your father's son. Who is he?".
Like lightning Frank replies "That's easy. Of course, the answer is me".

Jose pats Frank on the back and sends him away. "You see Steve" he says, that's the way to keep them sharp."

Steve returns to Birmingham and decides to try this at training the next day.

He summons Jermaine Pennant over and says "Jermaine, I have a question for you".

"Fire away gaffer" Jermaine replies.

So Steve continues "He is not your brother, but still he is your father's son. Who is he?

Jermaine blows out his cheeks, runs his hands through his hair and thinks long and hard "Eh...I'm not sure boss, it's a bit early in the morning for a tough question like that. Can I get back to you on that one?"

Steve agrees to give him till the end of the training session to come up with the answer.

Pennant has a crafty idea and goes up to Matthew Upson and puts the question to him:

"He is not your brother, but still he is your father's son. Who is he?".

Upson thinks about it and replies "Oh, I get it. The answer is me".

At the end of training Steve Bruce summons Jermaine and asks him

"So, have you worked out the answer yet?".

"Yes" says Jermaine, full of confidence and chest pushed out with pride "The answer is Matthew Upson".

Steve throws his arms up in frustration... "No you moron..."

"...the answer is Frank Lampard!"
