those methods are indeed the fastest,same with other methods that use a direct connection

msn is actually really crappy because the file is sent to microsoft servers then relayed back to the client.

I did the burning thing and that worked, I can't believe I didn't know you could do that. I just burned it and brought it over to his house, since he has s-video cables to hook his comp up to his tv. I gotta get me some of those.

msn uses a direct connection if your firewall has the correct ports open.

used to,it still goes through some server

try to send a file to someone,and check all your outgoing connections, you''ll get the ip of a msn server and not the ip of the person who is receiving the file. ive tried it without a firewall,and ive read about it somewhere.
