Veron was shit at Chelsea but he wasnt all that bad at Man Utd.He put in some classy performances at Man Utd.The english media(scum of the earth) gave him an awful hard time(perhaps because he was playing with the Argentina team in 1998 World Cup when Beckham got sent off.He was one of the players who was around the referee i think ).Veron is a lazy player.He likes to play as an attacking midfielder and not track back to defend.This didnt endear him to the supporters.but when he was on the ball he was class.The english media broke his spirit imo.He was inspirational for Estudiantes in their Argentinian league win last year..

He was a major flop at Chelsea though, but i think he wanted out of English football at that stage anyway.

He was decent, particularly in Europe. But for the price tag, he was a flop. He's the kind of player that you need to build a team around, he's not someone you can buy an expect to slot into your system.

Yeah, Veron in his first month i think won best player of the month. He is a good player, but like Bobby Sands said his game isn't a typical box to box like most midfielders in England have to be. I.E why Riquelme as fantastic as he is wouldn't fit in well in England..which is a shame in a way.

I like Veron because he played for Sampdoria.He was class for them and at Parma and Lazio as well.
