beReal is right. We musn't be distracted from more important matters. On the qualifications; most big nations seem to sail through pretty comfortably, notable exceptions being Italy of course, Portugal will need to get in gear, Spain needs some extra points.

England, Holland, France, Germany, all looking solid. Scandinavian countries doing alright.

I still in shock.Ive never been so embaressed about a soccer team in my life.They had no heart.Its bad enough that Ireland were thrashed 5-2 by Cyprus but Cyprus should've won 10-2.They are pathetic and i hope they never come back from Cyprus.This is the Worst Irish soccer team ever.We were saying it after the Germany game.They are useless.I predicted to my brother that we would lose 1-0 ,but 5-2 Jesus!!!.

I dunno about putting all the blame on Steve Staunton.As a kid he was one of my favourite players.He should never have taken the job as manager.He put out the best eleven he had which was as follows:Kenny,Finnan,O'Shea,O'Brien,Dunne,McGeady,Duff,Kilbane(Kilbad),Ireland,Keane,Morrison

John O'Shea is a useless prick.He has let us down so many times.He is a cowardly fucker.I cant believe he is still at Man Utd.Andy O'Brien cant make Portsmouth's bench.He was the cause of the first 2 goals and was subbed.Duff and McGeady did their best considerin the rubbish they were playing with.Duff has gone back an awful lot since he left Blackburn.Kilbane is the worst player ever to pull on the Ireland jersey.He is the most useless prick ever.We wouldve qualified for the quarter finals of the 2002 World Cup but for him missing an open goal.I cant understand why he keeps playing for Ireland.Steven Irelan was poor apart from his goal.but it was his debut.Robbie Keane is an arrogant prick and will never do it when the going is tough or against top teams.The less said about that headless fucker Morrisson the better.

We were missing Carr,Doyle,Steven Reid,Andy Reid,Given,Harte,Kavanagh but that is no excuse.We havent a hope of qualifying and i reckon the Czech Republic will beat us 4-0 on Wednesday.

worst thing is that we were losing 2-0, so i'm pretty happy that we tied at least... Half of our team is on cards, injured or getting drunk and smoking cigarettes... The last group were the 11 guys on the field... We came back after the 1st goal which was a penality kick (Misimovic missed it, but he rebounded it in...which was lucky)

anyways i'm fucking embaressed...but not as much as this irishman up there (which is my favourite team (well after bosnia and croatia))


And can someone ban Bachaveli everytime Italy wins or loses, or ties for that matter, from this thread.

Ireland drew 1-1 thanks to John O'Shea's dumbness.Just after Ireland deservedly go ahead thanks to Kilbane's goal,O'Shea needlessly fouls and has his back turned to the ball as he is running back.Czech play it quick to Koller who drives it home.

Ireland should have won.Robbie Keane missed a sitter at the end.Duff put the cross right on to his head and he couldnt connect properly.As i said b4 Keane never does it when it is needed.

Ireland were much better tonite.Paul McShane,who was making his debut,was magnificent at center half.This guy looks a quality player and a good prospect.Manchester United let him go to West Brom in exchange for that Polish keeper.I think that was a mistake,O'Shea should have went.Lee Carsley,who wasnt even in the squad for the Cyprus match,had a fine game in midfield.Duff was good to'Shea did ok apart from the goal.I still dont like him though.

The result against Cyprus was a farce.Ireland had players tonight that didnt play against Cyprus and were excellent tonight.We have 11 players out injured.We wont qualify but maybe we can build for the future.

England beaten 2-0.Will McLaren get the boot.Northern Ireland won again i think.Fair Play to them.Pity Scotland lost though.
