^^no , 2pax used the reasoning that "the bible is simply there to haze and control the gullibe" yet 2pax hasn't reached that conclusion via his own thinking. So he also has been influenced. like, he says, someone reading the bible has been influenced. What makes his source more credible than the bible. Although, I know, there are many flaws in the bible, there are flaws in asserting that "the bible is there to control the gullible". Because, ultimately, it can't be proved that God doesn't exist. And also it is accepted nowadays that the bible has been changed and is not the same as it was originally written.
No, I didn't reach my conclusion without being influenced, being influenced is inevitable whether negatively or positively. But what i'm saying is, I've studied science, and the law of physics, and the big bang is the most reasonable theory for me to put my belief in, whereas god creating the world is the most extreme and far out theory.

That's enough of that. Show some tolerance and respect for the beliefs of others. Religious hate is for the weak and gullible.

Anymore comments like that and this will be closed. Dont start beef.
I have nothing against any religion, I'm just stating my opinion which I think is fair, valid and reasonable.

[I'm an A-ara-a-ah-ar-atheist]

you are dumb...if you put that, you could have said "I'm a re..rargggrhhh...relgious"

as for me, i don't really believe in God...but i fucking hope there is one!!!!
in other words, I believe in some kind of God, but I will never associate myself to some religion...cuz that's what separates people, and in all religions, people are supposed to be united....

well many believe God is a man because Adam was created in "his" image.
who created God then??? does he have a mother??? if Adam is created in his image, he has to be a mammal, hence he has to have a mother and a father who created... and if God is a mammal, he has to be some kind of animal with a consciousness...hence a human being....

I'm just wondering dont yell at me saying "ATHEIST!! ATHEIST!!! YOU ARE THE DEVIL DIE MOTHER FUCKER DIE!!!" and i'm not an atheist

people believe God has no creator, that he/she/it appeared out of nowhere. I'm not religious at all, i have no belief in organized religion at all.

I believe in God. And I'd like to add something. What existed, what made or caused the Big Bang Theory? Something always must come before to trigger. Cause & Effect law. However there is such a theory in a book I read long ago called FlatLand or somethin in which it describes the existence of a creator through math. It was somethin like how we humans live in a 3rd dimensional world. God himself is in a dimension out of space & time. He therefore can see inside of us, about us and do anything to us. But we cannot see him due to our level of dimension. My explanation is crap, ill find a link for this reasoning and you'll see.

Yea we learnt this in A level philosophy. Our teacher tried to use a metaphor explaining the owrld like a snooker table (really bad example but i cant think of nay others right now). The table is the world, the balls are the people and the movement of the balls are the actions. Therefore, there is a force which pushes or tries to direct the balls into a certain direction (I.E.the forece of God), but the balls do not always go where we want them to- us the people are tempted by temptation, but there's a whjole element of cause and effect.

I think its a good way of answering a question that no one knows the answer to...if you dont follow a religion, but still believe that there is something - the term 'higher power' fits the bill well.

I believe in a higher power, but dont believe in a god per say!

I dont think its a cop out, i dont know whats up there, but believe that there is something up there - its the best way anyone could possibly word it!

It's not avoiding the question, your saying you hate it is merely of lack of regard for other peoples experience and perception of life. There are things in this world I can't explain or comphrehend. Without having a religion that adequately answers those questions or a comphrehensive explanation to fill the void, this leads me to believe there is a higher power of some description, beyond my capacity to understand at this point in time - one which i do not believe has not been satisfactorily defined by organised religion or the man-made concept of "god".

Is that answering the question?
