I believe in a "higher power" of some description. Having not grown up in a religious environment, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "God" but rather I see it as a source that is beyond my capacity to comprehend, yet nevertheless creates the capability and means to live.

honestly i feel the whole concept of a God to be completely insignificant in relation to our present situation within the universe.

seriously, even if there were a God....do you really think he/her/it would want us to waste our whole lives worshiping him/her/it?

personally i think its more logical to focus on our lives...and our future generations lives rather than being worried about what MIGHT happen when we die.

I have to say I'm not sure.

The possibility of a higher power - or a God (conventional one or not) - is plausible but in order for me to answer that I believe there is a higher power, I would have to be referring to 'aliens' or a more advanced race somewhere in the galaxy.

And while tehy may encompass a greater intellectual capacity I'm not sure if this qualifies as a higher power per se hence my 'not sure' answer.

Religion is something I don't subscribe to though.

At the core of my principles I believe human beings are essentially equal & that there is nothing greater than us. By the same token, I tend not to think we are anything superior to animals, irrespective of differences in intelligence.

As this is the case, I have an inherent problem with the idea of worshipping. Having respect & admiration is one thing, but getting on your knees to bow before a 'God' has an air of slavery to me.

Anyways, getting a little off track here so I'll just end by reiterating my answer that, I'm not/can't be sure.

God = yes
Jokerman, please explain what you mean by Eve - Yes and Adam - No
If you believe there was Eve, doesnt it mean you believe that Adam was with her as well?
