I like you. You believe but dare to think out of "their" box.
'their'? anyone who just says 'Yes i believe' and no explanation like that is in that particular box? people that Believe have to offer somethin further than in the box to prove to u that they 'think' outside of it? that theyre actualy intelligent?

lol..and especialy on a forum like this I doubt any ones really in that box (IM guessin the box is religious fanatic)

That's why I put "their" in quotation marks.

Its been said that we don’t use no more then 5% - 20% of our brain. How can u rule anything out?
ya thats bullshit. We use 10% of our brain conciously, such as using our brain to move our limbs and think, the other 90% is unconcious like breathing and sweating. Not sure on those numbers but its somewhere like that

Yes its all about a sense of balance.. According to the catholic church, Earth was the center of the universe before Galileo's discoveries. We all just need to be a lil opened minded..

So by someone having some kind of “believes” and not particularly explaining it immediately typically means their not intelligent? No one is trying to convert nor change anyone here. This thread was asking a very simple question and I gave a simple answer. If u want me to go into detail I will but I rather spend that time on homework rather then proving my believes in detail . No disrespect .

Amen.. he keeps me from being in jail. God has kept me healthy where i have never missed a lot of work.

When i die i know i'll be heaven an reunited with family and friends that went before me

I dont believe in evolution which is Bullshit, i believe in creationism.

theres things we dont know about life and general, those questions will be answered when were face to face with the lord, and will be explained by him. an in the end we all will be judged by god.

ya'll should pick up a bible some time. reading that will make you see and understand things a whole lot differently. :thumb:

I think that's the dumbest reason for believing in God ever :thumb:

"I rarely miss work...that must be God!!". Too bad God's too busy making sure you don't catch a cold to answer all the prayers of starving children in famine-plagued countries, huh?

Penn and Teller said it best "People need to read the bible sometime, we need more atheists"

When i posted my comment last night. i immediately thought of you, knowing you'd post something stupid.

You got your belief, i got mine. dont turn this into a dispute. :thumb:

And Illuminatille, how this that a stupid reason? sounds like your a non believer. a person that prays to god and asks to keep them healthy and safe from work. god may bless that person, he keeps you from losing fingers or keeps you from dying on the job.

ive been around people who dont believe. an they wind up missing a lot of work. something may be wrong with them, or their kids wind up having something wrong with them. then that person wonders why they get sick all the time.

and stay on topic "starving children"?. the thread says (Do you believe in God?). that is an entirely different matter. God handles all things differently, hes there for you if you believe, and he handles the starving children an all the worlds problems.

So, you genuinely believe that because you believe in God, he makes sure you stay healthy? And how do you explain all the perfectly healthy non-believers? Or all the unhealthy believers? Oh. You don't. God just "handles" them. He keeps you healthy and out of prison, he lets them die.

You're the least informed Christian I've ever seen.

I don't think "least informed" was the right phrase. He's just so unconvincing. He's making arguments that are obvious fallacies. He thinks he's healthy because he believes in God, but there are plenty of unhealthy believers and plenty of healthy non-believers. How can anyone can use that as a justification for believing in God?

He not alone. I've yet to encounter a believer who doesn't fall in the fallacy pit.

Yes that is a fallacy, Dont confuse christian believers with all believers though
