Creationism is a joke

What I find intriguing is that, even after all these years of debating about it, Teck NeeX still seems to have no clue about some of the basic "traits" of evolution.

Although then again, I'm not so surprised by that when I realize that his actual reasoning and debating skills (meaning, correctly connecting arguments and counter-arguments together and drawing conclusions) are seriously below par. Like Chronic said, proving (or trying to prove) something isn't red doesn't make it blue.

Teck takes "thingy" A and "thingy" B, connects them and he gets conclusions I. Conveniently forgetting about thingies C through M and conclusions II, III and IV, which you also need to take into account to be scientifically and philosophically correct.

What else I find intriguing is his use of logic.

Evolution? PURE SCIENCE FICTION!

Barack? The flying horse that flew Mohammed to heaven? Ya that's 100% truth.

It's like, "but this shows that the feather-base was not a feather base at all, but a difference in bone growth! So it didn't have feathers at all! So evolution is bogus!"

...

The whole, beautiful, point of this big, scientific community is that "science" doesn't have all the answers laying ready for us to gobble up. We have to think, theorize, test, theorize again, etc. We're wrong sometimes, we're partly wrong sometimes, we're on the right track sometimes. That's the scientific game. Trial and error. Bit by bit.

Most creationist fools expect there to be one, big, clean cut answer to the whole thing. It's not like that. And even after a good four years he can't get that through his thick skull.

That quote is from the Sarah Palin thread and was said by raywaters11.

Humans and apes came from the same branch. One species split into two, one lead to humans and the other split other times to form the other great apes. We did not evolve from a chimp or gorilla. The other species that we evolved from are extinct and we have their fossils.
My God, I'm surprised there are so many people that don't know this.. thanks for an educated answer about this :xlips:

it's not like our ancestors were apes ffs
