I would like to know your interpretation of this. I have my opinion but as you 'love' it I'd like to know why.

If evryone else would keep their opinions on this to themselves for the time being, I would be much obliged.

Anyways, to keep the ball rolling.

We often refuse to accept an idea merely because the tone of voice in which it has been expressed is unsympathetic to us

I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier and simpler.

All of these are from Friedrich Nietzsche

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather... Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.

Will Shriner, a comedian....lol

I love talking about the Kennedy assasination. The reason I do is because I'm fascinated by it. I'm fascinated that our government could lie to us so blatantly, so obviously for so long, and we do absolutely nothing about it. I think that's interesting in what is ostensibly a democracy. Sarcasm - come on in. People say "Bill, quit talking about Kennedy man. It was a long time ago, just let it go, alright? It's a long time ago, just forget it." I'm like, alright, then don't bring up Jesus to me. As long as we're talking shelf life here...

Bill Hicks, a tragedy...

I have as much authority as the Pope, I just don't have as many people who believe it.

Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity

George Carlin.

Although I posted the Hicks & Shriner quotes mainly because I personally like the comic & personal value attatched to them, the Carlin quotes, while comedic, are quite profound.

it yourself. . . . If you want to know the theory and methods of revolution,

I wasn't comparing him to any of his predecessors.

Bush has made a bunch of verbal fuck-ups. Is that the sing of an intelligent man? (Take into consideration the number of advisors he will have)

Also, would you mind telling me of his academic acheivments?

I'll retract the 'redneck' label. Sure he's Southern & a political conservative but he wasn't poor, that's for sure!
