Congrats to the Angels

I dont wanna make new thread about this so i'll get my anger out in here since season is over for yanks.

Till Alex Rodriguez changes hes cocky and arrogant ''Im the shit'' attitude he wont get any further in life. he walks around as if hes the shit. he doesnt want to accept his failure, instead he acts as if nothin and expects next guy to change hes failure. he expects others to get a ring for him. he wants hes teamates to do his job for him. he doesnt want to put himself in pressure. he will leave you alone in a battle.he is not a true yankee, not a good teamate to have either. just good numbers dont put you in class. statistics dont mean nothin.

Randy Johnson was a bad trade in the first place. he never looked comfortable with this team and most importantly in NY which played a big role of his failure this year.

The whole season for yanks can be described as hasitant. everybody looking over to the next guy and expect next guy to do job. nobody really took responsibility for themselves. it seemed like they werent believing in themselves from the start. in papers they look nice but not on field. different kinds of personas. no role players really. all these caused problems.

Bernie first one to go. he cant help this team nomore. Giambi has to go also. Kevin Brown needs to go.Randy Johnson should go. hes not happy and comfortable so why keep him. he gonnel give you one more season only anyway. bring young pitchers. get rid of Mussina too, hes loosing hes stuff. Posada has to go too. this team needs fresh air. Matsui? i'd keep him. to me since he was on his last year of contract it seemed like he was always kept to face pressure and had to prove something in order to have him resigned. he did good enough for this team ever since he got here.

As far as Derek Jeter's season goes bank robber. I might rate his season 'under performance' but not because of your dumb reason. he was .5 under hes career average. no big deal.

Lastly, big fuck you to nel polish.

1-arod is not clutch, thats for sure

2-randy was one of the best pitchers in the AL this year, the only problem was instead of giving up regular hits, the hits he gave up were home runs, which is why his ERA was so high. look at his WHIP, Win total, W-L percentage, SOs, K/9 Ratio, etc. and its all in the top 5 of the AL this year

3-Jeter was the only one who looked like he wanted to be at-bat in the 9th inning. Makes you really miss 1998

4-Giambi led the league in On-base percentage, how can you want to get rid of him? He had an awesome ALDS this year too, one of the few who showed up alongside Jeter and Mariano.

Lets sign AJ Burnett, that Molina cat from the Angels, and trade for Tori Hunter (who is definetely on the trade block from what I hear)

A-rod needs to spend more time training with Jeter, I dont care if he hits 48 homers next year, 2-15 in October is not acceptable.

Randy didnt have all that good season. he sucked in first half. he got lil better on second half. he was giving up whole bunch of home runs. 32 career high. loosing against tampa. come on man. lowest strike outs since 94. career high hits allowed. he should've won 20 games at least easly.

Giambi yes he was good. but you dont know what he gonna give you next year. he cant play defense. getting old too.

Yea the Expos West as I like to call them (Vladdy, OC, Rivera, Colon, Izturis and Bill Stoneman GM) did a great job and I'm really hopin I can see OC & Vladdy win a WS together

it will be cool to see them vs Everett , Hermanson , Widger and Tim Raines at first base for me at least :D

A-Rod is like a player that was created in a video game, he puts up great numbers, but if you turned him into real life thats all he would be a robot with numbers

randy and steinbrenner dont take shit from anybody so i dont see that relationship working

torii hunter or mike cameron would be nice pickups, the yankees definately need a CF, pitching as well, leiter, mussina, brown, randy, wright arent gonna work, id keep chacon since he seems to be proud wearing pin strips, and pavano i can tell you from watching him here is injury prone its inevitable, he lucked off a good year in florida and thats it

they dont need numbers they need people that want to wear pinstrips not for the money but for the pride so to speak

they definately gotta shake things up

yah i didnt watch the whole game last nights because i had a midterm this morning...i left them when they were up 2-0 because hey u got a rookie against Moose..like how could they lose?? i was shocked to found out they lost and i was kinda sad because i didnt get to see Bernabe, Joe and Cashmens last stand as Yankees :( ...but to start Bobby Cosby in center Joe should have known better to start Williams no matter how old he is...as for A-Rod never liked him and never will and he will most certainly never be as clutch a third basemen in the postseason as Brosius was...id like to see number 13 win MVP of World Series one day! lol :D

despites the sadness of not seeing some Yankees i love again...there is satisfaction in that they lost knowing u cant enjoy the rest of postseason...at least MY astros and dandy Andy and Clemens are still in it ....

so why dont u just stand outside Yankee Clubhouse Stores and wait for those 50% off merchandise tags instead of being my tail here, huh?

AL starters sucked.
Nobody really had a dominated season. unlike NL. carpenter, willis, clemens.

Third base coach Luis Sojo said that after the Angels beat the Yankees 5-3 in Game 5 on Monday night in Anaheim and advanced to the AL Championship Sseries, Alex Rodriguez came to the coaches' room and apologized for his hitting .133 (2-for-15) with no RBI in the playoffs.

"He blamed himself," Sojo said. "I think he took it personal. ... He said, 'I'm sorry, guys.' ... He felt like he let us down."

atleast he realises how bad he was this series

yah he rightly should be ashamed because he made true yankees in Bernie, Joe, Cashmen and earlier confirmed Mel is official gone, losers in their last game in Pinstripes...hope he feel good because Soriano would never have did that badly ( we can forget 2003 at least)

and Soriano wouldn't have also been the first Yankee to even sniff 48 homers since the days of Maris and Mantle

its fun to dog A-rod, but dont even try to compare Soriano to him

why do u bring up stats from regular season when were talking about performance in playoffs...can A-Rod hit walk off homerun like Soriano did against mariners game 4 alcs??? soriano almost got the Yankees to 4peat with HR off Schilling in 2001 WS...what does Arod do in game 5 but strike out against rookie...

you mean the same Soriano who hit .133 in 30 at-bats in the 2003 ALCS?

and .227 in the world series against the marlins that same year?
