Why doesn't this guy just admit defeat already? "This means nothing, it's just a dress rehearsal" or some shit like that he said. I mean, the writing's on the wall, your government will be dissolved, just let it go already. And what's with this shit about him not going to the Netherlands to show respect to the veterans who liberated the country? That's a slap in the face of the Canadians who fought and died in WWII. He's more worried about his own ass to care about anything else. That's a real bitch move if I've seen one

you can't put all the blame on paul for the ww2 memorial. If it wasn't for conservative and bloc pressure to bring down the goverment they wouldn't have delayed their trip there.

Whats even more of a bitch move is the conservatives are saying that paul is holding the vote on the 19th because he wants 2 conservative mps to get more sick from cancer. That is fucking pathetic, its just as pathetic as harper saying that paul supported child porn last year.

also last week during the vote the conservatives didn't care about the independant mp that was sick with cancer and couldn't make it, guess they don't care about people who would vote for the goverment

Dude, you're making it sound like I'm a conservative voter. Trust me, I would never vote for them bible thumping gay hating Bush loving retards. I still remember Mulroney. And that is a bullshit excuse for Paul not to be there. It's not like anything was going to happen while he was gone, it was the weekend and the house doesn't sit on the weekend. He could have gone and shown his respect and been back in more than enough time to deny that his government is in any trouble on Tuesday. There's just no excuse.

well you're not supporting the liberals, but if you vote for ndp you might as well support the liberals, and the other option is bloc (since you live in winnipeg you wouldn't) which support the conservatives. A vote for any other party is a waste of a vote, and if you don't vote you can't really complain really.

If he went to the celebrations early, he would have had to leave on friday when the house was in session and a vote might have been held. It doesnt take 1 day to fly over there, stay for an hour then fly back, its like the d-day celebrations where it took a few days.

Either way, my point was that he could have easily been there, there really is no excuse. However, you are wrong about that. Martin could have left Saturday and arrived the same day or early Sunday morning, well before the parade. It doesn't take that long to get there, I believe it's a 10 hour flight. Then he could have left shortly after the parade and be back in time for the vote. With D-Day, he elected to stay in France, he didn't have to. Besides, Consevatives have been saying that they were gonna do this for a while now. It's not like it would have come as a surprise to him. I just wish he would have the class to step down when there's overwhelming evidence that he knew of the scandal, even though he still continues to deny it.

Now as for who I will vote for. I still haven't made my decision, but the NDP right now are alligned with the Liberals. How long do you think that will last? As soon as the election call is made, NDP will break away from them

60%? I thought it was something like 40-45%? Can't really trust polls anyways, in the referendum in 95 the polls said that 60% of quebecers would vote NO, but when it came to it it was 49% yes 50% no.

Man, those polls change daily, it depends on who's doing them. In the first week of May, one poll had 37% Liberal, 28% Conservative, and another poll had it 31% Conservative, 27% Liberal. In Ontario, one poll had it 44% Liberal, 30% Conservative, another poll had it 35% Conservative, 34% Liberal. That's why I don't follow polls.

Whoever you vote for not as if it's gonna make a difference to you really.unless you're gay.

and whats up with more fundding for the military. lol we don't need a fuckin military. if we got attacked we'd be doomed.so if we were to get attacked sometimes, then having a military is useless,u gotta have it all or nothing. but we got protection from our friends down south, cough (the americans) cough.

Yea Martin is a pussy. He knew about the scandal,he probably got payed too,but you know what,i don't blame the guy,if it was me i wouldnt admit it. sorry martin for calling you a pussy.

Bloc Quebequois, lol,do they still exist. whats up with that? its such a waste of time and money for them. What do they expect? Ima start a party called Bloc Alberta. Then soon after they'll have Bloc this to Bloc that. Since they are all for quebec, who the fuck else would vote for them?

so what are you guys. left wing, right wing, what????

No, but God believed in human rights, he created us. And I have not yet seen anywhere in the bible where it says homosexuality is wrong. After all, he gave us free will. The way I see it, who cares if some gay guys want to get married. Does it affect you personally? It's their choice. I don't understand why people say it will ruin the sanctity of marriage, it's not like they are going to say only gays can be married. Things will stay the same for us straight people, so what's the big deal?

OK then, show me a quote from the bible that specifically states that homosexuality is a sin. I have asked many people to do this, and no one has ever been able to find one.
