I supported the war at first but now its just really out of control. Soldiers and innocent iraqis are dying daily. Its still a very unstable country like what two years later? There are suicide bombs and ambushes daily. The insurgency still is not gone and never will be. I think its just a waste of lives and money.

I believe there can be some greater good, if not a measure of stability, nevertheless I dont believe in war as a means to achieve it. I've never understood the correllation between war and gaining security, I think it has only made us less secure. As for the thwarting of terrorist plans... I dont know the nature of what goes on in intelligence ranks, so I'm not going to speculate.

I think there are far better methods to achieve the objectives that Bush Administration and others are seeking, more peaceful methods than generating numerous wars, but those objectives should not include an expanding hegemony of power or forceful implementation of liberal democracy. Seems as though the purposes of war are no longer distinct, why are at war again? And with the increase in nuclear proliferation, how are we securing the international environment again?
