Ok i have a 360 and I just got a PS3 yesterday to be honest I don't really see all the hype around the PS3, its a nice system no doubt. But im almost tempted to list it on ebay an choose my 360 over the PS3. Put side by side as far as graphics I don't personally see any difference. Yes PS3 have the Blu Ray player, which is nice but the pricing of those movies is steep an who's to say Blu Ray will really take off.

I dunno im kinda up in arms here cause im addicted to Saints Row so I really don't wanna get rid of my 360! And I just got the PS3 so i'd like to give it a chance but from all the reviews and from what I've seen myself from playing the past couple days, its not really that special.

It depends on how you like to play video games. If you love playing with other people you might want to pick up Xbox 360 because the online is #1 (but that doesn't mean you can't have a bunch of a friends come over and play). The PS3 looks good but it's hard to tell how it is going to be since it just came out so if you're looking for one wait a year until the games become better and they work out the kinks. If you don't have that much money and graphics don't really matter to you, get a Wii. I might buy one when they become like 50 dollars.

BTW, the Xbox 360 has alot of stuff that the other systems can't do like listen to your own music while playing with your iPod, Creative, external hard drive, streaming from computer, etc. It also has video playback capability over your network or you can have a external hard drive plugged in with videos and play them in the dashboard. If you want I can show you my setup it's pretty badass.

ok, ill start with this, i own a wii, the system is amazing, its a fun innovative way to play video games, its not a graphical monster house, but that was never nintendos intentions, twilight princess is one of the best zeldas ever, as well there is a lot of new games coming out at the start of the year that will make for a great experience, ie wario ware, mario party, etc etc.

now to the ps3, im sorry, but sony could of just sat back, through out a few ads and sold like mad, instead they had there executives talking shit, and fucking up all the publicity they had(the vast majority has been bad), thus hurting there popularity among the gamers, on top of that the price is insane, i may think of getting one in like 2 years when the price is to a worth while price.

Now the 360, dont have one of them either, but i have heavily considered it, in my opinion the best option to go with in the new wave of consoles, is the wii360 combination, as you can get both systems for close to the price of the ps3, that way you have your graphical experience on the one system, and the new motion controls on the other.

The Wii looks fucking awesome, I can't wait to play one. I have to give Nintendo their props for this shit. PS3 looks boring as shit to me, I'll either be getting a 360 or a Wii, its a tough choice.

^^^ Get a Wii then save up for the 360 or the other way around. They are both great but the Wii is too great to be ignored. I've had one since release and I haven't had this much fun with a console in a long time. My entire family plays and all of my friends come over to play with me. It depends. If you think any game with Mario in is a "kiddies game", then there'll be a lot of them. But there's also Red Steel, Madden, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Resident Evil, Zelda, Darkness (survival horror type game which looks pretty good), Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Far Cry...

Granted I've only played Wii Sports, but I fucking love this console.

I haven't had a chance to play the new Zelda, I've been too busy beating everyone's ass at Wii Bowling.

Yes. If you want an extra remote, it's worth buying Wii Play because that comes with one.

Played it today, and it's good. Haven't got very far, but the sword controls are very simple and (I find) a lot better than just pressing a button.

Looks very nice too.

I got the wii for a few weeks now & I got to say its probably the most fun I have had playing a gaming console in ages. Been playing Zelda, & call of duty3. Zelda is way too addictive you would just keep going back for more. Have not find COD3 so impressive since I have been used to play it on the PC.
