Give me a source where Obama directly said that he never knew of reverend wright's controversial comments.

Obama admitted in the speech that he knew that Rev. Wright has made many controversial remarks in the past. That's all. He never mentioned what those controversies were or anything. But, ABCnews wants to you to think Obama is a hypocrite.

So, where does Obama deny knowledge of any of Reverend Wrights controversial remarks in the past?

he says in this interview that the statements were not ones he was familiar with

What's ironic is that no one has bothered to read his voting record in the Senate. Well, I have. It's abysmal. Very far left agenda, Puff said? LOL! He has voted pro-industry, pro-nuclear, pro-Wall Street, and anti his own constituency. He’s not at all populist. All the things that got him into politics, he has compromised on. If you go by his voting record, he should be a dream for the Right.

.

what about his illinois senate voting record? (or lack of some might say). his votes on the late term abortion bills (which were widely bi-partisian, in once instance he was the sole person to vote no) were not exactly right leaning.

what about the orgainizations that examine members of the house and senate to see where they stand?

I just wanted to bump this and delete my other thread. In my opinion, this was the best speech of the race so far.
