These Samsung adds still suck but at least not as much as the first one.

Actually about add 2 - you still can't answer your phone with your gloves on. Adding a hardware button for answering a call would do, you know.

Shut up. You know exactly what I'm talking about mr. .apk. I can see it now, hey you got any cool apps on your phone, yeah check out my dialer and contacts list brah. Better yet check out this googlecontactsyncadapter mother fucking dot apk!

Too further clarify so Casey can't try to be cool most apps are useless overrated garbage. I forget what CEO said it but he basically said fuck apps I have the internet, and I agree wholeheartedly. But wait the internet is just a bunch of computer networks so to further clarify, for smarter than average people of course, I am talking about webpages on the internet that have information on them.

Apps make it easier to access the information. For example, my IMDB app loads faster than when I visit it via my browser. It's also, obviously, mobile-optimized, which is not the case with every website. So, I, wholeheartedly, disagree with you. :D

With that said, I have less apps on my phone than anyone you guys know who has a smartphone.

Why?

'Cause I don't need the stupid shit that Sandeep seems to have.

arcMedia - free media player that is compatible with many video formats
Epicurious - cooking recipes for many foods = convenient since it brings everything together coherently.
iMediaShare - media centre app for your TV
Media Remote - sony blu-ray app = esaier to type and navigate using my phone instead of dvd remote = more convenient
Nectar = shopping points reward system which converts poinst back into cash = saves you money on high street stores
PapiWall = new game im checking out
Slice It! = puzzle games which i love
Tiki Towers = puzzle game
Touch Pool 2D = game
Virtual Table Tennis = one of the better (simple) games on the android market.

so aside from the games, those apps make my life more convenient. the way i see it is: why not make use of a product which you have paid for, when it allows you to maximise productivity effortlessly?

I usually install an app if I find it interesting, play with it and then remove it. I keep about 15-20 apps. Some of them replace original apps (texting), some add functionality (backgrounds, IM, PC remote, flashlight), and the rest is productivity and entertainment.

Everything else I do through my browser because I dislike dedicated apps. I find it much easier to just click a bookmark and open up a few websites, read and close the browser.
I even check all of my email accounts through my browser because I dislike the way email clients work on mobile phones.
I only have apps for sites with lots of pictures (like dedicated to stupid pictures or artistic ones) because they work better in an app.
Oh and I also have an app for public communication and taxi but it barely fits this category.

i think i will delete the quickpedia app and just create a shortcut for the mobile wikipedia site. it pretty much has the exact layout of the app and does not have annoying ads.

It's not the case with all Motos. My Sidekick Slide was a Motorola phone and it's the most solid phone I've ever owned in terms of build quality. Nothing else comes close.

Marz - nice!!! The Atrix is dope as hell. Quality phone. Let us know how you get on with it. Looks like you're the first SH member to have a dual-core Android phone :) Can you do me a favor and install an app called Quadrant (it's free) and tell us what score you get on it? It measures your CPU performance in different factors and gives you an overall score.
finally did it...
2,693 was the score it gave me
