lol, sorry. I've been posting late on SH for the past few months and dead tired, trying to clear my mind, by rambling.
What I meant was, the whole thing would reset, like a factory reset.
Just recently, my sister (like a week ago) or so, got an HTC phone from At&t and it did a factory reset on her 2x. She's going to go get it replaced soon.
My friend has a G1, and he sells them with Verizon, and it's happened to him 2x. (Though, he's had it since it came out).
and a couple of other devices that I don't know exactly what they were had that problem, but mainly just "SD cards" and phone books get erased . . . before anything was even "upgraded" about them.
In short: I'm not talking shit about androids, nor am I asking for advice on which one to pick, since I won't be in the android market for a while.
I thought it was known that these devices do that, and I was just asking (if it was known to you guys) if they had "stopped" doing that with the new devices coming out.
