Actually i dont know where u are getting your so called facts from because since 2002:

Manchester United transfer fees=153.62 million

Liverpool's = 115.63 million

How could Liverpool's be more if you consider how much Man Utd paid for the likes of Ferdinand,Rooney and Carrick.

Firstly, 2002 wasn't an arbitrary date. It was the last time you finished in the top 2 in the Premiership. You've spent all that money and, as of the end of this season, you will have finished outside the top 2 for FIVE consecutive Premiership campaigns.

Secondly, you can't compare how much we've spent to how much you've spent since the millennium without pointing out that we've won three Premiership titles (00, 01, 03) in that period, and you've won none. And we're on course to a fourth.

Money well spent, I don't think you can say the same.

But we did win the FA Cup twice,the UEFA and the fucking European Cup so what is your point about?Manchester United have done better domestically but Liverpool have done far better in Europe.I find it funny how United supporters say that the premiership is far more important the the European Cup when,it was the other way around in the 90's when Man Utd were trying to win it and when they did actually win it in 99.

You said Liverpool spent more then Manchester United which i proved wasnt the case.Now you are making the argument that Man Utd have won more in the past few years.

Liverpool have 18 leagues and 5 European Cups.So if u want have a debate over who has won more,there is no point. Its going to take along time before Manchester United catch up.

lol, UEFA Cup. My point is, you haven't won the Premiership title. Something every Liverpool fan on the planet wants you to do. Don't deny it.

The Premier League is more important that the Champions League. The fact that Porto won it in 2004 and you won it in 2005 (when you finished fifth in the league, and had to have the rules changed so you could actually defend it) just highlights that.

Winning the European cup is nice, especially if you haven't won it for a while, but the Premier League is more important. In 99 we won both, so what's your point?

If we win the league this season, that takes us to 16 league titles. The difference is, we won more than half of ours in the modern era. You've never won the Premier League, and for a club your size that's embarrassing.

adding that Liverpool is "perhaps the greatest franchise in the history of the greatest sport in the world."
not true, manchester united is. 98% of Manchester United fans have never watched them play, with fansbases as far as Moscow and Tokyo.

Rich Americans, please buy Ipswich Town;

^^^i hate man u fans... just because that most of them are koreans. and the greatest team is Liverpool, the greatest franchise is Man U...which became more of a product than a team. proof : 98% of Manchester United fans have never watched them play, with fansbases as far as Moscow and Tokyo. :D

Now, I dunno why Illu tries to win every argument but can't admit that he has lost a few.

Dude, you spent a lot fucking more than Liverpool in the past few years.

You buy a lot, but every player you buy is fucking worth it, hence you having a succesfull decade.

You guys used to prime the Champs league until you started to not have success in it. then you used the Arsenal argument "the FA is far more important than the Champions league"

It may be true in the fan's hearts, but its a lot more important in owner's pockets.

I dunno what's your point man... Man U have been the better team in the last decade, but overall, L'pool have been the greatest team in the past century :)

wtf?Porto had an excellent team in 2004 and deserved to win the European Cup.They had Carvalho, Ferreira, Deco and Maniche in their team.They beat Manchester United in that competition so what is your point here?Are you trying to say that it wasnt tough to win it?That the competiton isnt worth much because a smaller European club won it.The truth of the matter is that Porto had a fine team,an excellent manager and deserved their success.They had won the UEFA cup in the previous season btw.

And Liverpools win in 2005 was in a similar manner to Man Utd's in 99.So why do Man Utd fans dismiss it as poxxy.Did it ever occur to you that because Liverpool won the Champions League in 2005,their league form suffered.

An interesting article about Hicks and his involvement in "the worst trade in modern baseball".

Hopefully we'll see him sign Frank Lampard for £200m and let him and Gerrard recreate their inept England partnership at club level.

The difference is, United deserved to win based on their performances throughout the tournament.

You finished second in your qualification group, on goal difference. You lost to Olympiakos, lost to Monaco, and drew with Deportivo along the way. You then beat Leverkusen, got narrow wins against Juve and Chelsea, and won the final in a penalty shootout. I don't think you can blame your league form on your European form, because it was hardly stellar.

Besides, if anything that just shows how much better our '99 win is than your '05 win :D:thumb:
