Technology 360 just as powerful as PS3

Was Fignt Night CGI? cos the dev was hyping it up the max talking about how you can mash the fuck outta their faces an it'll look like real damage with gruelling face expressions when they get hit on fight night 2 you can see bone when your break someones nose so I suggest they do the same but for the whole skull & ribcage in Fight Night 3

XBox is gonna be a better system for sure. The first one had a stronger engine than PS2 and I see no reason why history won't repeat itself in this case.

Keep in mind that the PS2 is 5x more powerful than the Xbox using the same standards that everyone says the PS3 will be more powerful than the Xbox.

Thats what the 360 patent I posted about in my second post in this thread does, and could be used in all games.

Im waiting for something like Halo 3 to use it, real time bullet holes, blood, flesh flying off, etc etc.

The best thing is with this MS technology, all of that is done on the fly and in real time without any slow down. So each enemy will look different and with different damage because the damaged models will not have to be made and then just loaded in. You'll just be able to chip away at models and the damage will be real and the skin will remake itself on the fly.

I assume this would go for buildings and stuff as well. Imagine Mech Assault 3 on the 360, instead of each building having the same damage models that are just loaded in when you hit them, you can just chip away at buildings, mechs, etc etc.

^^^ I dont have online sources, I didnt look up consoles online then. I have magazines though, Gamepro, Hyper (#1 aussie console mag) etc etc that all pretty much said that Sony was going to go the way of Panasonic when they tried to enter the games market. Who the hell was going to come in and topple the Sega and Nintendo juggernauts? Who indeed. And look what happened, Sony beat out both Sega and Nintendo. Just like Sega and Nintendo beat out Atari before them. History repeats, and it will do so again.

It may not be this generation, it may not be Microsoft, but anyone that says Sony will be on top simply because they are Sony is stupid. They said the same thing about Sega, they said the same thing about Nintendo, they said the same thing about the Roman Empire. History repeats.

The xbox was the more powerfull console the first round and that didn't matter couse people enjoyed gaming so they got the PS2 over the xbox, it will be so this round too, you shouldn't worry if the PS3 is more powerfull then xbox360 couse like first round peolpe will buy the consoles they like and the ones that have the games that appeal to them.

Rukas is partially right, the fact is microsoft had the balls to show face, even if it was only on a starter kit. You honestly believe that if that kill zone 2 trailer wasn't cgi, or pre rendered, they wouldn't have it have it on display demo.
I give microsoft alot more credit for not having anything to hide, sony does the same devious bullshit every other year, im suprized everyone has forgotten.

I think microsoft is really trying to focus around their strenghts, like online game play. Something sony hasn't been able to master yet, and with free xbox live, microsoft is looking better and better.

Well truthfully most of your post here on Entertainment Tonight has been on bashing the PS3 while giving praise to the 360. I know probably you will find a post of yours that praises the PS3 but I see more of the bashing. But whatever PC still is the leader of the pack.
