People are pickin the heat cause of shaq. But look closer, the heat haven't had that tough matchups yet. They might look strong in the east, but I don't feel like they are better than the Mavs, not at all. They can't handle Dirk, if he keeps playin the way he did, I say Mavs in 6.

^^They've had 2 tough matchups, in the second round against the Nets who were really hot at the time, and then against the Pistons who made it to the finals 2 years in a row.

dirk's been shakey in the finals and miami red hot. it took a minute 4 the mavs to hold back a possible game 7 in the Phoenix series. i think miamis gonna run it to the mavs throat &shaqs gona get his wades gonna add on to his stardom & the others like haslem williams payton come big.the mavs got dirk howard terry etc but don't see em for 4 games equaling out a dominant performnce ovr the heat. both teams are inexperienced in the Finals but heat have more players i think that are beter in high stake games. & can do better in a Series than the mavs. if it takes the mavs nearly 7 games to knok out the suns (imagine if they had to go against the clipz) then i think its gona be reckless against the heat. and as stated b4 the heat have been totaly different in the playoffs than the season the eason they had a losing record against above 500 teams (i think). but look at em now.

plus, they got Riley.

When Shaq got to Miami, he guaranteed a championship, I think he's going to bring everything he's got. People keep talking about Miami's got no one to guard Dirk, well who's Dallas got to guard Shaq, Erick Dampier? Please.

there is nothing to discuss. Im right, there is no way the Heat will win in 5. Obviously they have a chance to win the finals but i think the Mavs are gonna make it. Dirk did not have his best day but they still managed to win. If they win the second game (which i will be watching in the middle of the night) i say the possibilty to win the series is 75%.

All I have to say is...go back to my last post, didn't I say Terry was the x-factor? Terry is the darkhorse, I'm telling you, watch this kid play.

well they were in dallas so i expected dallas to win on their homecourt, i wont get nervous for the heat yet until they lose on their home floor...i like both teams tho but i'd prefer the heat to win it all

I told you so. Miami never played against a PG like Terry, they haven't played against a PG that attacks the rim and see, they did a bad job - but I don't think they can do better. Miami never played against a team as quick as the Mavs (in the playoffs), that gives them troubles as well. Dallas in 6 baby.

Well, are you one of those cats that still don't understand how good Dallas plays right now? It's a 7 game series, but Miami gotta play great ball if they wanna go somewhere. Good Bball alone won't get shit done against these Mavs. Hell yes, it's a seven game series, but shit, I don't doubt the Mavs ability to win it all no more.

I'm about to call out bank robber. ;) :) .... I mean, sorry, if you've seen these two games, do you doubt that these Mavs are able 2 win a game in Miami? I don't. If Miami don't step their game up RIGHT NOW, they might even get swept..
