^^is he a better all round footballer?

Ibrahimovic probably wins in the flair category but Eto'o beats him hands down in pretty much every other department.

there is more to football than doing nice moves and flicks which seemed to be in very short supply since he joined Barca.

3 times Champions league winner and more goals scored in his club and international career says that Eto'o is the better player :D

if i was a manager and i was picking my team, i know who id prefer to have.

Wheres Ibrahimovic gonna play next season with Villa there now as well?

Thats why i put "footballer" in quotation marks. Eto'o is a great striker, never disputed that. But technically and on teamplay intelligence, Ibra has him beat on all stations. Eto'o has better movement, speed and agility, Ibra is physically stronger and a better header. In a way it's a toss-up. Can't say who's the better allround, practical, real life footballer. But I do think that when all the gears are grinding correctly, Ibra fits Barca better than Eto'o.

no way does Ibra fit Barca better than Eto'o. how can you say this lol. The fact that David VIlla has been signed says it all. I have shown you the main reasons why Eto'o is more suited to their syle of football i.e his versatility, speed and movement. he was ideal for them. I wonder if Ibrahimovic will still be there next season. where will he play when Villa comes in?. there are talks of him being included in a deal for Fabregas.

Thats nice hizzle. now where is the money for Dzeko coming from? lol

would be great if it did happen though.

Liverpool Eye Edin Dzeko As Replacement For Fernando Torres - Report

this is great news isnt it hizzle? we lose one of the best strikers in the world but get Dzeko instead. :(

was this what you read? its from the News Of The World. i told you not to read that rubbish lol

im all for getting Dzeko but if it means Torres is going then no thanks.

besides, Reina said that Torres doesnt want to leave Liverpool.

they are also reporting that we are getting Milner even though we cant afford him.

no doubt they have an article on the same page on Liverpool's financial woes. joke of a newspaper.

i love how goal.com puts rumours from the NOTW and the scum in their latest news. retards.

No I didn't read it in NotW. But Torres is not leaving. Dzeko is supposed to be worth 40M. Imo, what will happen is that they will throw in a striker and give 10-15M Euros for Dzeko.

With Torres-Dzeko upfront, we'd make sense.

40 million for Dzeko? no way in hell lol

he is a good striker but that is an insane transfer valuation.

what striker do we throw in? we only have Torres lol

it is highly unlikely he will move to Liverpool though. we simply cant afford him.

i reckon Liverpool need to concentrate on bringing through youngsters. Its the way forward imo.

Torres does not want to leave Liverpool?

Yeah right. I'm sure he just can't wait to finish 7th and not win anything again. If I were him I'd abandon ship. All hands in the lifeboats, women and children first.

He won't leave Liverpool. I'm pretty certain about that. How long did he stay with Atletico as they were winning fuck all? He was linked with practically every large club in Europe. He seems to have a sense of loyalty, even when the times get rough.

^ That's because Atletico plainly refused to sell him for whatever price. But with those American fuckwits in charge of 'Pool, if a serious good offer comes along, he can leave and I think he wants to (unless Pool really reinforce themselves this summer)

5 times European Cup champions. 18 league titles etc.

why leave one of the biggest clubs in the world? Liverpool will be back strong again. dont worry. :)

Torres is not your average footballer either btw. He is very loyal and he owes the Liverpool supporters who sing his name at every game some loyalty.

Because he's a football player and Torres has said many times he wants to win stuff.

Liverpool isn't winning stuff. You think Torres is gonna twirl his thumb up his arse waiting for Liverpool to get their act back together?

And past results are never a guarantee for the future. Ajax won the EC1 4 times as well, you think they can entice Cambiasso to come play for them based on that?

did Ajax win it in recent years? no. Liverpool did and contested the final again 2 years later. they have also been in the semis or quarters almost every year for the past 8 years.

I agree though. Torres wont stay at Liverpool if we continue like last season but he does owe us another season at least. He has only played half the matches over the past 2 seasons.

Also, If Liverpool can get their act together, get new owners and get back to the champions league next season, then we have a great chance of winning it again given our great pedigree in the competition. Liverpool always has a chance of winning it when they play in it. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City. fuck them. they never won it and never will imo. Chelsea couldnt even do it with Mourinho backed by Abramovic's millions ffs. shit club. they think football began 5 years ago. cunts.

They paid 25 million for him.

Torres should leave and come to Munich. There he could play with Robben and Ribery on the wings and him up front as the only striker. No doubt we would win the champions league. Fuck our defense.

Of course this wont happen.

You guys REALLY need new owners. Preferably someone with heart for the club.

What type of players you reckon Pool needs to have a well-rounded squad for next season (provided no one leaves)?
