I think he's over rated and over saturated. What's he doing that's so innovative? Maybe I just can't dig him cause I listen to so many artist's that at the end of the day his shit just isn't that great when compared to. Dunno.

^^ Its probably because you havent heard any of his good shit other than guest appearances because you wont give his solo shit a chance. So you think he is "over saturated" because of the singles he appears on and thats all you've heard.

the same reason we like snoop dogg. it's the flow, the cadences, etc. in musical processions in new orleans there's the first line - the actual parade - and then there's the second line: people who follow the first line, enjoying the music, dancing. the enthusiasm makes the parades that much more fun. lil wayne's music = first and second lines.

Is that right? Cause I could've sworn I heard Light's Out, 500 Degreez, The Carter 1 & 2 as well as Dedication2: Gangsta Grillz a couple times each...

As if I won't give any artist a chance? No, I think he's over rated due to the fact I heard most of his release material and it's just eh. Nothing more, nothing less.

After listenin to the leak for a couple of days, I gotta say I like it. Knew like 8 tracks before....but I like the new tracks and well, Wayne isn't the best rapper alive in my opinion, but people gotta realize his young age and I see a lot of potential, he's growing, improvin' and I c the potential for a couple of very good releases down the way......

^Or some people's opinions are reflected by a rapper.

Don't be ignorant and bash someone's opinion just because it is the same as a rapper.

He grew up and went from being a boy rapper to being a man, something that Lil Zane never accomplished, and Bow Wow struggles with doing.

He stood out to me on one of the first Hot Boys albums, I guess his voice and shit made it like that. Then again they all had something like that.
