they arent a one man team but they are lacking in central midfield. Besides its the same with all the big clubs. There are always one or two players that are the main men. but Rooney has kept Man Utd in the title race this season. no doubt about that.

From the Man Utd team last year, who could you have seen stepping up besides Rooney? You could see him doing it and the only one for me was Tevez who was let go which was a crazy decision by Ferguson.

Out of the current team i cant really see anyone who could step up as you say if Rooney was injured. Possibly Nani but could he really be a player like Ronaldo or Rooney? i doubt it.
