phones are getting dual core cpu's. thats crazy!

i'd say the only thing i dont like on the G1 is that it feels too "plasticky" like a toy or replica model and is a little squeaky when closed and you press the front part in against the back (squeeze together). thats just the hinge mechanism though.

i really cant wait for my next phone and it looks like im ruling out the X10 series. Would like something by HTC.

you know what casey? im actually sick and tired of all this waiting for this android phone and that android phone to come out!! we're always going to be playing catch up to the iphone and so im just going to get the iphone 4g when that comes out. it'll be much more worth it and more fun because many of my friends and family have it too!!

hey. Is there an app that would allow me some web space for my files so I could for example share my files from my phone online and then browse them from my desktop PC or vice versa? Maybe a cloud or something?

I know that there's an app called ZumoDrive but it doesn't encrypt data and it allows only 1gb of storage. I tried to search for something from Google but still no luck - Google Docs allow uploading files but it's not very convenient.

there was/is one for android (i think its been announced - so dont know if its actually been released or if its still in the works).

why would you want encryption? password protection on all your files? and if someone tries to access it without authorisation it would appear as a broken or inaccessible file?

no, just encryption on the go. If there's no encryption then anyone can capture my files or just browse them while they are stored - including app developers and any random person.

unfortunately both don't really work for me. DropBox is one-way only and GDocs won't allow me to open any files except text documents.

I really wish there was an app for SkyDrive. It's probably the most awesome way to store files online right now.

yeah I took my time to read it all. Dropbox is teh one and only best way to go for cloud and Android.
ZumoDrive is not secure at all as files are crypted only during transfer and then guys at Zumo and everyone who has access to their computers can see these files after they arrive.
The Dropbox app available in the market now is not official but allows streaming everything from your Dropbox account. It's pretty amazing as I can listen to my music and watch movies directly from my Dropbox account. Now I'm waiting for that final app allowing me to upload files from my phone so I won't have to store more important things on my SD card. I bought a 16 gig one for cheap but still I wouldn't want to lose photos for example. So I just copy things to my dropbox and I can always see them on my phone without them being physically there. That's really awesome.

Is there a music player allowing to skip tracks with locked screen? I'd like to use my phone as a mp3 player since it has great audio quality and audio jack (it plays better than my high-end mp3 player with Sennheiser headphones not counting occasional scratches and such) but I can only change volume level while holding it in my pocket. I'd also like to be able to skip songs. Is that possible with any app?

dont think so. but something may allow for holding of the volume buttons to skip back and forth. that's if you are able to do so knowing where the buttons are whilst in your pocket. a bit akward though.
