yea but from what ive heard, Walter Samuel is back to his best for Inter Milan. He was a very good defender. Demichelis will probably be the other centre half.

Holland are like this too but are worse defensively than Argentina. They have so many excellent attacking options like Arjen Robben(did you see him against Villareal?) and Van Persie but defensively they are poor. I cant believe that Ooijer was playing centre half at Euro 2008. Has Holland got any good defenders coming through Duke?

For the rest, hmmm. Maybe Gregory v/d Wiel (Ajax) for right back. Maybe Ryan Donk is he keeps improving. Looks kinda like a lost cause, though. He's still young but barely played last season (loaned to Bolton i think. Or WBA, something like that.)

Edson Braafheid (Twente) surprised friend and foe with his developmen from somewhat talented left back to solid central defender. If he keeps the rising line in his development, we may hear more from him in the future.


Oh btw, you'd have to agree Ooijer did fucking well at the Euros lol. The entire defence wasn't as bad as we thought it'd be. But Sar made them look much much better, lol.

Donk? He plays with West Brom and has been awful in the games ive seen him in.He might improve i suppose. That other young Dutch player Zuiverloon plays for West Brom as well. He is doing ok.

Donk showed some promise at AZ, but then he didn't get playing time and they loaned him to where he barely gets playing time either. I dunno, we'll see what comes outta him in 5 years.

Robben scored again for Real Madrid. I know he gets injured alot buts its still really hard to believe that CHelsea let him go.
