You know the way Atletico Madrid got in trouble over racist chanting form some of their support during their Champions League game against Marseille? i cant believe that i was directed at Marseilles black players because Atletico have 3 or 4 black players themselves. Was it directed at muslims because i think Marseille have a few muslims playing with them. Perhaps because of the madrid bombings. i was wondering about this the other night.

From what I have read and understand is that the chanting is racist but its just to annoy UEFA/FIFA and the other team. They love their own black players but seem to get a kick out of being racist to see what UEFA will actually do.

Now that I think about it, I would say the most "rude" or hardcore fans are English first of course and then Poles. Poles are pretty bad too. But English aren't really racists are they?

No where did I say it's only as a retaliation. I said it depends on the firm that shows up, and the individuals, obviously.

The times I've witnessed it, it has been as retaliation, but there have been occasions it hasn't. For instance, the England/Croatia incident in which Heskey got monkey chants.

I'd still say, in most countries, the majority of fans aren't extremists, just a bad few that give a shitty name for the whole group.

It was a counter attack. "The players" that allowed the ball to come in from left couldn't stop such attack. It was that fast.
