Just how I see her knowing I know nothing about politics or care. I just think the cycle needs to break.

Wolf hunter. I hate hunting in general.
Christian based beliefs. (17 year old daughter is pregnant)
Her husband wanted to make Alaska seperate from the US. I'm sure she wanted to also. Is that patriotic?
She thinks shes some fucking comedian. You're not bitch.
Bristol, willow, piper, trigg??? Who the fuck names their kids this?
They pass that fucking retard baby around like a hot potato.
Bridge to nowhere? You with it or not? Flip flop.
She's got four kids and a retard. Does she really have time to be VP of a country?
She's not hot.

Don't reply with your bias views, Puffy. :D

so she hunts, who cares? it is her right to do so. i think eating pills for enjoyment is stupid but i'm not going to shit on a persons right to so.

yes, she is christian and her daughter is pregnant, so what? so are many other teenagers around the country, that omg guess what, grow up in christian homes. obama's mom had him at 18. this will actually show the whole country that there is someone in politics who can relate to them and their troubles.

haven't looked into the seperation thing that much yet.

her jokes during her speech were funny and got a lot of laughs. people liked them and apparently that is who she really is and is known for doing things like that. no wonder she have millions more view her speech than obama's

palin's husband is part eskimo. their children have eskimo names.

that is just a horrible thing to say

the bridge money would have brought just that to her state, money. no governor would turn it down.

nobody has questioned if obama will have time to raise his children. nobody questioned clinton her nancy pelosi when she ran for office years ago. women's rights movement was about a lot of things which also included women having careers and being able to raise a family. people that take up this weak arguement that you did seem to be forgetting that she has a husband who will most likely not be working if his wife is elected as veep.

What views of hers exactly do you find "fucked up"?
Wanted to have creationism taught in schools.

Wanted books censored in an Alaskan library. When the librarian refused she was fired.

Said it was her (Willow's) choice to keep the baby yet wants to take away the choice for others.

The separation thing is about the Alaskan Independence Party where some members said she was part of and later gave a small speech at one of their meetings.

actually, more people watched Obama's speech. Did you get that info from FOX news?
wow that was original a fox news joke. actually it came from nielsen, the ratings system. obama had over 38 million. palin had over 40 million. mccain and obama were about tied, mccain may have beat him by a few thousand. that isn't including pbs, if you count pbs palin still did more views that obama.

Actually Obama still had more viewers than Palin by about a million, but McCain had more than Obama by half a million according to Neilson ratings

yes, but she wanted taught along side with evolution. is that so bad, to have a balance?

never heard of that.

most christians don't believe in abortion, but it seems that she was actually allowing her daughter to make an adult decision and instead of making the decision for her.

at one point she may have been for seperation, but even if she was i don't think she is now. i don't find it that big of a deal. many states of talked about it before, mostly from major democratic states in new england simply for partisian reason. so far i haven't really seen anything that proves she was for it, mostly just talk and coming from the same people that say her youngest child is the result of her oldest son and daughter having sex.

We should teach homeopathic medicine in med school as well then, it's a balance right?

We live in societies where there is a separation between church and state, the US had that ideal in its creation, introducing creationism into public schools would be going against that.

never heard of that.
It happened when she was mayor.

most christians don't believe in abortion, but it seems that she was actually allowing her daughter to make an adult decision and instead of making the decision for her.
But she doesn't want abortions to happen at all. She was asked if her daughter was raped would she keep the baby and she said yes. I don't see how a woman who is saying she is all for womens rights could against giving a woman's right to choose.

But it should be scrutinized. All politicians have their backgrounds and political history checked and rechecked. I mean this is for the position of the second most powerful person in the world!

that all depends on how creation is taught, it could be taught and not violate church and state.

med school is higher education, doesn't apply to public school. religion is taught in college.

does womens rights means they have the right to choose to kill and murder?

i agree politicians should be scrutinized. i'm still waiting for the media to do it on obama and he is running of the number one spot.

In higher education you have a choice to choose what you want to learn. She wants creationism taught in science class when it has nothing to do with science at all, in fact its a spit in the face to science.

Another example would be teaching conspiracy theories in history class. Fake moon landings, 9/11 inside job and others being taught would be a HUGE waste of time, why waste time in a science class teaching something that has been refuted by all major scientific institutions around the world?

does womens rights means they have the right to choose to kill and murder?
Well that depends on when you think life actual starts now doesn't it? I'm against late term abortions, but if a girl is raped and finds out shes pregnant I think she should be able to choose whether to keep this baby or not.

Remember the Jeremiah Wright story? After that his past was looked at with a fine tooth comb. Maybe if the people who spread the lies of Obama being a secret muslim terrorist would actually look up his past they would bring something up that would get media attention.

Off topic: For some reason I was staring at your jedi-emoticon animation for like a minute which made me lose my train of thought constantly.

Also the jab against community organizers was just stupid, and she said that same thing in another speech on friday. Does she know (or the people who laughed) what community organizers do? Does she know that there are important people in American history that were community organizers?

A quote I heard was "Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a Governor."

i look at this thread, and pretty much every thread or discussion on politics, and i think, is it any wonder why the US (or pretty much any government system involving multiple parties) will never come together? republicans trash everything the democrats do, democrats trash everything republicans do, and we're supposed to believe either of these candidates are going to unite the parties and work together with them? yeah right.

i'm not gonna comment on a lot of the things mentioned here since it would just be redundancy, but i gotta ask you Puff, how can you say that Palin saying she let her daughter make the decision to keep her baby, yet she's pro-life and wants to take that decision away from anyone else, how is that not hypocritical? her daughter gets to make the choice, but the choice shouldn't be there for anyone else? i don't know how anyone can see that as not being hypocritical.

my biggest issue with her is the same issue that republicans have with Obama, inexperience (ironic, isn't it, that inexperience isn't an issue with them when it comes to Palin?). not so much that i think she's too inexperienced to be VP, which i do, but what happens if McCain dies and she becomes President? can she be trusted to lead the country with so little experience? well if they say we can't trust Obama to be a leader, then how can you be able to trust her if this situation should occur? not to mention that it's pretty obvious why McCain chose not just her, but a woman as VP: Hillary Clinton. it's just a ploy to steal away voters who would have voted for Hillary and don't want to vote for Obama. pure pandering.
