Germany - Austria just became the worst match of the tournament. I haven't seen so many mistakes in one game for like...years. Honestly.
I don't know where to start. Let's start up front:
Gomez: LOL. He gets a 4.
Klose: LOL. He gets a 5.5. No fuck that, he gets a 5. Oh no, wait, he ruined an incredible opportunity as well. I forgot that. He gets a 4.5
Poldi was the best (least worst, i should say). He gets a 6.
Neuville sub: HAHAHAHA!! -4
Midfield:
Ballack: Good goal, totally absent for the rest of the game. 6.5
Frings: He probably did most of the work. Good mentality, but that was about it. 6-
Fritz: Haven't even seen this guy. Oh, wait, yes I did. He fucking wasted the ball lots of times, lol. 5.5
Old boy Hitzlsperger did alright when he was subbed in. Can't expect this man to do it by himself.
Defense:
I'm not even going into the specifics here. It's purely down to the Austrians pure fucking ineptitude to put that goal in the box and in the net that the Germans kept the 0.
Metzelder is a goofball. Mertesacker is often praised for his lack of fouls but to me that shows the man is a fucking pussy. Lahm is often too focused on running forwards that he forgets to defend (though I must admit, Lahm was decent today. One of the better Germans). I can't even remember Friedrich doing anything decent this match.
And I cannot fucking believe Lehmann is so criticized in Germany. This guy has been your best player BY LIGHTYEARS so far this tournament. Seriously, stfu about Jens.
Hell, even the proper German go-get-em mentality was totally absent today. There was no pressure on the ball, no focus, no edge in their play at all.
Not to mention the gazillion wasted opportunities and the gazillion "give-away" semi-chances they handed the Austrians on a platter.
The Germans should take their pants off and thank the Good Lord on their bare knees they were put in such a pathetic group with Poland and Austria. Two teams that seem utterly incapable of scoring and capitalizing on stupid defensive mistakes.
Honestly, I want those 90 minutes of my life back.
Germany can play two levels better than this in the quarter finals and Portugal will still deliver a piece of sexual assault that will send them crying back to bockwurst und bier.

Bobby, if you saw them (Germany) today, you wouldn't know how quick to retract that statement.
Yes, Germany played poor matches before and came through in the end, but in those occasions at least the mentality was there. This time they didn't even look like Germans on the pitch.
