UEFA Champions League

Ronaldo had a good game up against a central midfielder playing at right back.He wasnt even marked for his goal although it was a good header. Was quiet enough in the second half and extra time when Chelsea were on top. Then of course he missed a penalty and you would expect him to pay the price but alas Man Utd are the luckiest team of all time.:)

Nah he had a good game. He is the best in the world right now though.

Its funny that Chelsea had 2 right backs who have won the Champions League on the bench, while they play a central midfielder at right back.

As for Terry, i feel sorry for him but he should not be taking a penalty like that. You didnt see Man Utd sending Vidic or Ferdinand up to hit a penalty.Terry's run up was all wrong.

Fucking yes! Hard to believe we've got our hands on the European Cup again, was a really tense match. Utd dominated the first half and should've been 3-0 up before Chelsea equalised. Which was by the way one of the luckiest goals i've ever seen, two deflections and a slip by Van Der Sar but hey, a goal is a goal. Chelsea were the stronger team in the second half, hitting the woodwork a few times but they just couldnt score.

I still feel Penalties is a cruel way to finish a final but if the teams are still level after extra time there isnt much else you can do.

Ronaldo rocks by the way.

I went down to Old Trafford after the game as well, it was immense. Thousands of us singing our hearts out :D .

I just hope United are able to parade the cup after that fiasco with the scots.

Don't feel sorry for Terry. He blew his nose or spat at Tevez (when Tevez got booked) and tried to elbow him. Disgraceful. But we should feel sorry coz he slipped? look at his foot...who the hell puts there foot on its side when taking a penalty?

Terry is homo.

lol, but it's true. of course he kinda slipped but .... I dunno, he puts his foot down in a strange way I agree - and it's part of why he slipped.

True, though. And it's stupid. They were so afraid of Ronaldo they put a physical beast on him. Problem is, mister Essien is a midfielder, not a focused man-marker, lol.

You shouldn't be so afraid of enemy players that you start playing non-defenders on defensive positions, teehee.

I cant remember seeing it but if he did :thumb: Tevez is a piece of shit. Stupid argentinian (i said that before right? Oh well). Still i dont feel sorry for Terry. I feel sorry for Ballack though. The guy lost against Madrid in 01/02 (i think) in the final, missed the 02 WC-final due to his second yellow and now lost the final against ManU in penalty shootout  He deserves a title man....

..maybe he will win the EURO.

Edit: Im not really sure but out of the first five players taking a penalty for chelsea, the three english players were the worst, right? VdS nearly saved Lampards and Coles shots and Terry...lol. Who was the fifth player for Chelsea again?

Strange as it may seem I do have sympathy for the Chelsea players, they didn't really deserve to lose. Had it been the other way around i'd be absolutley devastated.
