RKO! RKO! RKO! RKO!

dont read if you dont like spoilers

at first when no mercy started and they just handed out the title i was a little pissed. then when HHH won it i was a little bit more pissed (i'm not a big fan) and the whole time watching the event i kept saying to myself "it must really pay off to be married to the daughter of your boss" and the whole rest of the show was pretty much killed for me after the first match.

but then we still got the last man standing match! not bad. i enjoyed it. i enjoyed it more to see HHH get the rko on the table and watch orton walk away champ.

and wtf was that pizza eating contest. that shit was lame.

im pretty happy with how this turned out, shame no Y2J but still i was in shock when HHH won the title at the start. i wonder if on RAW we will see a new belt or will it be the same spinner belt?

No Mercy was the worst pay-per-view I've ever seen.

Good:
The whole WWE Championship thing. I was also annoyed at first, but it succeeded in keeping me guessing. I didn't think Orton would drop the belt to HHH, he did. Then I started wondering whether they might put the belt on Umaga (they didn't, thankfully) which made that match more interesting, and then I really didn't know if Orton would actually win the belt back at the end (it was Triple H, after all). The opener was good, HHH/Umaga was too short (but I can't blame them, Triple H wrestled 40 minutes as it was) and the main event was brilliant. Exciting stuff.

Meh:
The six-man tag.
Decent enough match, but it was completely meaningless. I don't know why those six weren't booked in matches anyway.

The Punjabi Prison match.
It was as good as it possibly could have been, given the people involved. The finish was cool, and the match as a whole was far better than a straight singles match would have been.

Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix.
It was a women's match, so expectations were very low. At least the right person won.

The Bad: EVERYTHING ELSE.

CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V.
The few people who actually care about ECW were rewarded with a title match that lasted TWO FUCKING MINUTES and ended with a nonsensical DQ finish. What the fuck? PPVs should be an opportunity to showcase ECW so that the fans who don't watch it - but do watch the PPVs - might tune in.

MVP vs. Matt Hardy.
A pie-eating contest would be bad enough, but this took F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Why spend so much time on this when they could have given more time to the ECW title match, or to Rey/Finlay, or given us Hardy/MVP vs. Taker/Kane rather than putting that on SmackDown?

Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio.
They only gave them seven minutes, and the finish was pointless. Finlay faking an injury was great, and got him heat, but they should have just continued the match from there on and let Finlay get the cheap win. They could have put on a really good match, but instead it came across as a short, mediocre match that you'd expect to see on Smackdown.

Apart from the main event, it really did feel like a glorified TV taping. Had Jericho showed up, it might have been worth the money, but he didn't and it wasn't.

Well that was a nice surprise to see Shawn Michaels back on RAW. WWE got desperate and NEEDED him to come back. Triple H had been pleading with him to return as RAW needed a fresh face to replace the injured John Cena.
i hope Jericho is still coming back i wonder how they will re introduce him, and will he be a face or heel?

There was no reference to the videos when HBK came back, so I'm pretty sure the videos are for someone else (Y2J, Edge, New Generation Hart Foundation etc.)

Good RAW after a bad PPV, didn't expect to see Michaels at the end.

well this week on RAW the main event is going top be Randy Orton and Ken Kennedy vs Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy. my guess for what will happen will be Shawn n Jeff gettin the win and then shawn super kicks jeff.

in other news looks like ECW and Smackdown are merging, or at least having a kind of talent exchange program going.

what every body think of that nasty fall Candice Michelle took, she came down on her side. it looked like her neck bent sideways. JR and King even knew the move went wrong.

concussion and a broken collar bone out 6-8 weeks.

a question for everybody whos a fan. i didnt want to start another thread. but is it time for WWE to take Carlito back to OVW. drop his apple spittin gimmick retool him with a new character. Carlito has officially bottomed out, the crowd doesnt seem into him anymore. they boo him cause they hate his character. he wont be in line to recieve any title shots soon. i know hes got a backstage attitude. and on monday taking a loss to Davey Boy Smith's son. (D.H. Smith).

whats your thoughts?

he needs to do something, but im not sure if he is the kind of guy you can repackage, he's like been type casted. i hope they bring in his brother Eddie Colón in. that would make for a good tag team or even a brother vs brother feud like bret and owen hart back in the day

Lmao. Stephanie went crazy over the leaks of the Jericho return

Stephanie McMahon was said to be very upset at the No Mercy pay-per-view a few weeks ago over leaks linking Chris Jericho to the SAVE_US viral marketing campaign. Stephanie, like everyone else in the company, wanted to keep the return a surprise. She was so upset that she wanted to run all of the company cell phone records of the Creative Team as well as do a forensic check on their computers and emails.
Of course this is not the first time this has happened as it is always extremely hard to find the person responsible for leaking information. According to a report, several of the Creative Team members were making excessive phone calls from their company cellphones and got yelled at for it. There have been added frustrations as of late amongst the writers in WWE as they had to completely re-write the No Mercy pay-per-view one week before the show due to John Cena’s severe injury. The Creative Team did not feel it was fair that they received the blame for the Jericho leak.
In reaction to the most recent leak, Stephanie McMahon is calling for tighter restrictions on Creative Team members. According to Dave Meltzer, Stephanie wants to specially state in the contract of Creative Team members that they do not possess any ownership to their ideas and are not allowed to speak out in public on them. She also wants their contracts to stipulate that they cannot share their ideas once they have left the company or talk about the impressions of talent or anyone they met while working for WWE.

and this is a quote from batista's book.

Now, don't get me wrong, my ex-wife is the love of my life and I would never knowingly hurt her. However, while I was busting my butt on the road like a dog, she would sit around the house and do nothing. I mean, yeah, she had cancer, but she couldn't vacuum? And since the chemo made her "not in the mood", I had no choice but to have threesomes on the road. I mean, she's talented and I hated to see her waste her life like that when she could be a dancer, or maybe a nurse. But she's not a bad person and I take full responsibility for my actions, even though it was her fault.
lmao, i dont know if he's serious or not but i lmaoed badly.

^Omg lol...

About Carlito, there was a time when he was improving quick and he actually was entertaining, but now hes pretty much boring. I think people have questioned his love for wrestling before.
