So, Eredivisie kicked off today. Early, but we're having a real winterstop this season and need to adhere to the international FIFA finishdate for WC2010.

So, Heerenveen - Roda tonight. My buddy invited me to come along, so I went of course. Horrible match, lol. 0-0 and dreadful football.

Twente vs. Sparta tomorrow.

I'm tipping Ajax, PSV or AZ for the title this year. If i HAVE to pick it'll be Ajax.

Twente won 0-2. Good result.

Cracker of the day is AZ. Defending champions AZ. Away at Heracles Almelo, they found themselves 3-0 down, rofl. They clawed back to 3-2 but that was it. And to add insult to injury (or, suspensions to defeat), they got two direct red cards in the closing minutes.

lawl, talk about a false start huh

Because of AZ I lost out on 150$ ... what a bunch of pansies. I hope Twente rape the Eredivisie this year.

I'd go wild with my cock out, but I think Ajax and PSV will be fighting for top spot this season.

3rd should be a very attainable goal for Twente imo. And who knows, the season is just starting. Everything is still open.

I'm just mentioning the Dutch footy cos we kicked off this weekend. The thread is for the other European leagues besides the Prem. league, which will undoubtedly be most discussed since we all follow that one.

lmao @ the asian fanboy quote. Fuck em anyway, they wouldn't know offside from a header.

lol @ "offside from a header".

So yeah... Croatian league kicked off last week.

Hajduk started off with a draw and a loss today... They are 5 pts behind Dinamo who have 6 points so...

My team, Velez Mostar, started off with a 5-0 win. We finally have a great organisation and sponsors and some money finally... So I'm expecting Europa League or CL qualifiers next season...

Poor start by Hajduk...

What are the traditionally strong teams from Bosnia that contend for the title?

Ah shut up Duke. lol
We lost to a bunch of stinkers. 5 pts difference with Dinamo with already 2 matches into the season? .. Pff we already lost it. We have no natural strikers, time to sell Kalinic and buy some reinforments, dammit.

At least we have the Europa Cup to be cheerful about if all goes well.

Edit: Eat shit Hizzle, we'll buy your talent from Velez like we used to do in the old days :D

Bundesliga started yesterday with Wolfsburg against Stuttgart. Result: 2:0

Goals: Misimovic and Grafite.

Nothing has changed.

Goddamn it, I was just turning on ARD for Sportschau and you ruined the first result for me, lol :(

Wolfsburg kept their magical triangle intact. They can pull some stuff this year. Although Bayern is still my title favorite (well, not *my* favorite-favorite, but you get my point)

Yeah, looked like a lot of headless chickens running around...

Anyways...

FT Borussia Dortmund 1 - 0 1. FC Cologne
FT Hertha BSC 1 - 0 Hannover
FT Mainz 2 - 2 Bayer Leverkusen
FT Nurnberg 1 - 2 Schalke
FT Werder Bremen 2 - 3 Eintracht Frankfurt
FT Hoffenheim 1 - 1 Bayern Munich

Magath starts off if a win.
