Whatsup, post yor favourite workout songs from any genre maybe the top 10 at present or an i pod playlist which always gets you amped for a good workout session. Just songs which make you bust out some more reps, share and you can maybe help others find the key to pushing that bit harder.

My average workout is about 80 minutes so heres what i would probably include.

1.tupac - hit em up (save it for the chest presses really gets me goin)
2. tupac - hellrazor
3. tupac- static mix
4. a tribe called quest - rumble in the jungle
5. atmosphere - tryna find a balance
6. biggie and lil kim - get money
7. dead prez - hip hop
8. DMX - up in here
9. canibus - 2nd round KO
10. fat joe - my lifestyle
11. ice cube - pushin weight (great name for a track, good song aswell)
12. gangstarr - rite where you stand
13. jedi mind tricks - death march
14. Mariah carey - against all odds (dunno why but thisa motivates me sumthin stupid)
15. destiny child- soilder (again a strange one but relevant cos when my cricket team won the local premier league someone kept playin this in the changing room and so it brings back good memories and makes me work hard to try and relive them again)

then finnaly for the run home some lawless element perhaps. So post your own greatest workout compilations. :D

Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz f/ Lil Scrappy - What U Gon' Do
Crime Mob - Knuck If You Buck

Any type of crunk music really gets me going, even though I won't listen to it just to listen to it.

yeah, i know what you mean. i hate crunk music, but it's good for a workout.

besides that, i listen to a couple different things:

a lot of ice cube. mainly the war and peace discs.

wu-tang clan > enter the wu-tang

a lot of old school stuff, too. run-dmc and ll, mainly.

really, it all depends on the type of workout i'm doing and what type of mood i'm in. i mean, for the most part, a song with a bit of a faster tempo is usually better than slower songs. dmx is great, too, because songs with that sort of...rageful emotion push you a little harder, i think.

and then, of course, there's the rocky theme song.

cheesy, i know, but you can't honestly tell me you've never jammed to 'eye of the tiger' when jogging up flights of steps.

I need something fast paced to work out too.

its like that - run dmc
sandstorm - darude
touch me - rui da silva
adelante - sash

ministry of sound stuff i guess, not the chillout, but the gold collection etc.

I agree Keco, that or anything that's fast.

I like music that makes me want to dance because then I use that energy while i'm on the machines :D

With Me nearly any song gets me going. The hard street tracks like Ja Rule - Clap Back or DMX - Where The Hood At to softer tracks like 2 Pac - Life Goes on or Bone Thugz N Harmony. R Kelly - Worlds Greatest really gets me going as well. As does Michael Jackson - Earth Song.
