Steve Austin Confirmed For Lengthy WWE RAW Return Soon
Date Added: 01/20/07

Due to his new WWE Films project, "The Condemned" set for release in April, legendary WWE superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be making his highly anticipated return to WWE television shortly.

The current plan at this point is to integrate Austin back into some sort of regular storyline, as to get use out of him at WrestleMania 23, to co-promote with his movie project in April.

More details on this story as we receive them.

when his movie career will be over... which means not soon.

The guy is trying to get out of his Rock role... see even in the Grindon Gang movie, he's listed as "Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson"...

he wants to be known as an actor and not as an old wrestler.

can you blame him tho? he makes a hell of a lot more money in movies than he ever would wrestling, and no insurance company is gonna insure a project he's attached to if he's risking injury by wrestling. he was smart to get out when he did, most wrestlers who want to make it as actors completely crap out, but he's managed to turn it into something, so good for him.

Kevin Nash does not deserve to mentioned in the same breath as Austin and The Rock. They were better than him in every conceivable way. They were better workers, they were more charismatic, they did more for the business, they made more money, they sold out more arenas...fuck Kevin Nash.

Shawn Micheals, Brett Hart, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior are some names that can be mentionned in the same line as Stone Cold and The Rock..

As for Austin returning, it would be nice. The WWE is in desperate need of a bit more entertaininment, as much as DX is great, you need a little more diversity from others.

Back in the day, you had Mankind, Austin, Rock, and many other great storylines to follow, so it never really got boring.

The nWo was a good angle, but it doesn't change anything I said. In fact, it makes me hate him even more. After a while all the nWo did was bury every hot young talent on the roster. Nash just got paid to hang around with his buddies and squash people ten times more talented than him.

Yeah your right about that but if you and me were making the money Kevin made in WCW. we would do the same thing too.
