Yeah..i heard this when i got off of work today still cant believe it. seems like yesterday he brought Jeter and A-Rod and all those big name players to NY, i still remember The Yankees first WS under Torre when they beat the Braves.

maybe now we'll see a Salary Cap in baseball one day, i know George never wanted it he was the only owner to vote against it. but i imagine his sons feel the same way too.

The Boss... RIP

I knew his name from Seinfeld, lol. With George working for the Yankees. Didn't know he was the actual boss. That's why they never showed his face in the series, lol.

It was Larry David (the brains behind Seinfeld, dude from Curb Your Enthusiasm) that did George's voice.

You know what's terrifying? Steinbrenner almost went into coaching (football) -- he was an assistant at Ohio State when he was younger. Imagine a sport containing him AND Al Davis.
