According to a report that originated on ESPNdeportes.com ('Manny Thinks He's Staying in Boston'), it appears that Manny Ramirez has changed his mind about wanting to be traded (again) and would like to remain in Boston with the Red Sox.

"There is no change. I am going to remain in Boston, where I know the system and I have my friendships, especially my companion David Ortiz," said to Ramirez Thursday to ESPNdeportes.com.

"I know the Red Sox and the American League. That is a reason not to move me to National League," said Ramirez. "In addition, I want to play for a contending team and Boston assures that."

right..i think beltran will come around this year, delgado, if he has a year like last year, he's fine, and wagner and martinez should do their thing and help the mets overcome the lowly marlins, def. the nationals, and aim for the phillies and br aves and try and win the division for once...

the mets arent shit....they got a really good chance of winning the division this year, imo...
They made some major improvements but I'm still not baught on them being a powerhouse. I still save the Braves win the division (as they always do)

Mets will battle Houston for the Wild card IMO

Shea Stadium is known for taking away from power hitters (ie Beltran and Delgado), I see Delgado being good but not putting up anywhere near the numbers he put up in Toronto or last year in Florida. Beltran's never been much of a regular season offensive player, I dont expect him to be very amazing.

and Pedro only starts 1/5 of the Mets games, and he'll probably spend time on the DL this year. I like Pedro and root for him, but I dont see him making all 32/33 scheduled starts.
