I might provide a different anwser..... yes, alcohol is not good for your system and therefore it won't help your muscle grow, like Shahin said, it will have a negative effect. However, there is a different aspect. See, I'm a basketball player and it happens every now and then that people in pratice are hung over, have still alcohol in their system and still are there, running the floor with me. They might miss shoots, they might not catch a pass, they might be slow. I still love 2 see them in pratice. Why? Cause it shows their attitude. People that feel terrible and are in pratice, I know that they won't mind givin it all during the next game. People that fight through that I know will sacrify during a game as well....
So, yeah I worked out a lot after I drank or whatever. From medical point of view, no doubt it's better to work out soeber and well rested. But...there is more to it. If you do work out against all odds, it shows your state of mind. I guess Rukas, you drink more than others... so, this shouldn't be an excuse....if you said you want to work out 3 times a week, work out 3 times a week. IF you drink 6 times a week for whatever reasons, well, then you might just have 2 work out hung over or drunken or whatever. U know. IT's all about the state of mind, if you're focused and really dedicated, that's what's gettin you far. Work out soeber rather than drunk, but don't use it as excuse.
