Will The Detroit Tigers make the playoffs ?

Were at halfway in this baseball season. an the Tigers have the best record in baseball.

My question to you guys is will Detroit stay strong a top the AL central an make the postseason. Or will they fizzle out an not go to the playoffs. Actually have a winning record this year an not make the postseason.

Teams like Chicago, Oakland, New York, and Boston make it in. an Detroit not going.

Do you think there pitching and hitting will fade out a bit?


Im not a Tigers fan.. but i would like to see them make the postseason. but honestly i think the White Sox will win the Central and either NY or Boston will win the wildcard. im gonna say NO.

whats your thoughts?

don't get me wrong, i'm a diehard chisox fan. but unless a major collapse happens (and i know only like 2 games seperate them), this same pace is going to happen throughout the season. i hope my boys take over the division but detroit looks legit and looks like they might take it. even if chicago does, it will be close enough that detroit will get the wild card, b/c ny and boston seem to be straggling behind (btw i picked toronto to win the east at season's start, and they still very much have a chance!).

I say they do, winning the Wild Card. I'm not sure if two teams can come out of the East this year.

I think it's gonna be the Red Sox, the White Sox, the Athletics, and the Tigers. The Yankees can't make it with the pitching they have right now. Of course, they usually make moves, but as of right now I don't see it.
