Where do you stand politically?

Here's a nice little test i rediscovered that measures where you stand on a political scale measuring where you end up on a diagram with the x-axis being left/right and the y-axis being authoritarian/libertarian. I remember this test was posted in this section years ago and if my memory serves me correctly most of the board was leftist libertarian, thought it would be cool to see if the board has changed politically over the years. The test shouldnt take more than 10-15 minutes max.

This is what I got, seems like my stance in general hasn't changed much though I seemed to have moved a little to the right, but I'm still pretty leftist. I guess all those hours I spent studying economics surrounded by a bunch of Friedmanites didn't affect me as much as I thought :D

Economic Left/Right: -3.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.13

Thought I'd be a little lefter, but I'm glad that I'm not too far to the left.
Hah, yeah I know what you mean by that.

That puts me slightly above the Dalai Lama and slightly to the right of Nelson Mandela. And I consider myself conservative. Go figure. I think it was those sex questions. I was feeling generous at the time.

I am a humanist-socialist in the tradition of Eric Fromm, Simone Weil, Eugene Debs, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr. and many others.

But as far as those questions go, a lot of them are asked in the framework of a certain system, and if I have a problem with the system, then I can't answer the question, so I didn't.
