A question for the people experiencing this issue - which version Windows OS and iTunes are you running on?
- It could be an issue with the iTunes library. 1)Close iTunes, find the iTunes folder (should in your My Music). 2) Remove (not delete) iTunes Library.xml. Put in on the desktop (or any easy to find place for later). 3) Delete the iTunes Library.itl from the iTunes folder. 3) Open iTunes and Import the .xml file. ---- This is done to fix any Library errors. Library erros have been known to cause unexpected shutdown of iTunes
- Check for spyware or anything that would fuck your shit up.
- Check to see if you have any "automatically launch iTunes..." options are on. Not just in iTunes but in apps like FireFox and P2P programs... any app that deals with media files. ie. downloads a mp3 file and opens an app to play
- Users are finding some issues with iTunes on Windows Vista. If you're running on Vista, you'll just have to wait until the next iTunes update.
- If all else fails, contact Apple.
