Was this Hurricane an Excuse for Bush to take over the Oil in New Orleans?

First, New Orleans oil is very plentiful. That area's proven reserves in 2002 were listed at 112.5 billion barrels, about 11% of the world total. With little exploration, many promising areas remain unexplored. Experts believe that NO has potential reserves substantially above 200 billion barrels. Bush wants control over it because of his failure to secure oil in Iraq.

Second, the Bush Administration with Israel wants to further their grand plan to make New Orleans a homeland for the Palestinians. That will get them out of Israel's hair and they hope the next hurricane will drown them all.

It's clear what must be done. The inhabitants of NO should form an insurgency and start bombing National Guard soldiers.

(I hope this thread lives up to the standards set by hankaveli and some other of my inspirations in here.)

That's more oil than the Gulf combined together excluding Saudi Arabia.
That's why Bush wants it. It's an invasion, not a rescue/re-building effort. Just wait, you'll see Haliburton stepping in soon. Illuminatti, like a 12-gauge shotty.

But wouldn't that just leave you a step behind? You don't want to be over-reliant on that new oil field, you'll end up like Saudi Arabia, which discovered new oil fields by the way. You'll keep consuming without consideration instead of looking for an oil replacement.Think of it on the long term, shit wouldn't do the US any good.Bush is an idiot. If it was me I would save it and pump some of it across the states so I can decrease the prices and cut on oil imports. But there are your European allies, who'd want the same amount oil it exports for half the price.
Edit: Kuwait alone has proven reserves of 94 billion barrels. My bad.But still, 112.5 billion barrel is still alot
