UFC 61 = never order mma ppv again

UFC is obviously having it's fights manipulated in order to market future fights and big ppvs. Last nights event was not only disappointing, but boring and predictible.

the first fight had a young man (yvetts?) get his head split open to the point that a quarter of the ring had his blood stained in the canvas. however they let it go two rounds, gushing blood and all until the doctor stops the fight. TWO ROUNDS. Fast forward to Ken Shamrock, and his fight is stopped right after he gets hit with a few elbows. Ken was trying to get up. watch the replay. he's rotating his body to his left and reaching for titos arm and the ref stopped it..which tells me someone wanted tito to have this win to look strong going into his next event - the winner of chucks match..promising ken a rematch because the result wasnt popular.
this is all to put tito, dana white's personal friend, in line for a title shot in the next coming months. god forbid if ken was the champ again..

frank mir was fat and out of shape and was getting rocked through his BORING return...the announcers had the fight scored for the other guy yet mir got the 'unanimous' decision'..sounds like politics

and andre was trying to box during a championship match? he's trained in ground fighting. jab jab hook..repeat..it seemed to me that match was rigged - like vince mcmahon wrote it to keep the maniac seated for awhile because if andre would have taken him down ONCE the fight would have been his..

after two ppvs that disappoint ufc offically over prices their crap..it's lost its luster

Thats was definitely the worst ufc ive seen. It was bad, everyone I know thinks the same too. I still prefer Pride I guess.

ken was robbed. how do you explain the first guy fighting losing a pint of blood and allowed to continue, but ken is hit 4 times in the face and they stop it. he was in motion AND reaching while it was going on; even tito wants a rematch because the ending was so disappointing. ken was SO pissed that he tried to fight him after the match and was removed from the building by security / police. ken should just go to pride and stay there. frank left under the same problems and he should too. dana and tito are good friends so i'd expect something like this...

that mir guy was fat and out of shape yet got the win because he's a former franchise...

^^^that's right. in boxing you at least get your money's worth..not a 10 second ref stoppage or anything like that. im not going to pay them much attention anymore...until brock lesner debuts

Well the card was lackluster at best so you shoulda known before to not order it. Ken lost his last match to the same kinda stoppage I gave him the benefit of the doubt then but not anymore. After the fight with tito he claimed tito only landed 2 elbows rewatch it he landed 5.

I think this whole thing is a work and is set up to put tito in a title belt. look'it - shamrock was told to fight rich franklin and after he 'lost' rich ended up becoming a champ..now tito has the rub too? dana is pimpin ken out to make new stars!

secondly the frank mur..he may have been out of shape, but i still expected more out of him. he's a former champ that tapped dudes out in like under a min. being fat does NOT mean you can't fight. the first few years of UFC tank abbot was knocking niggas out left and right with NO training and a BEER BELLY

Tito does not need a rigged match to beat shamrock, did ya'll not see the first one? it wasn't even close.

That was a quick stoppage though, I wish it would have gone on a little longer so Ken would realize he needs to retire.

watch Pride Fighting Championship instead. Best fighters in the world are there, no fence or elbow bullshit so the fights actually require skill and not a lucky strike to make a person bleed. Knees to the head are allowed on the ground and soccer kicks are allowed. Fedor Emelianenko would own any UFC champ easily
