I want to konw what other people thing because i think Curtis Martin is ARGUABLY top 10, but i havent been able to see people like Sayers, or Marcus Allen so its tough. I was having this argument with my friends and we exluded alexander and LT from this because they can go Ricky Williams or just retire early.

What do you think??

Martin is #4 in rushing yards all time

he's definetely a top 10 back, to exclude him is a joke. dude might be top 5

the only guys i'd put above him for sure:

barry sanders
jim brown
walter payton
emmit smith

then you can argue all you want about dickerson, simpson, bettis, faulk etc.

the argument there was people like OJ and Jim Brown played less games per season, brown played 12 and OJ played 14. But that still leaves a good amount of spots left, you know

OJ was still behind by a considerable amount

to be Jim Brown was better than Curtis though, no point in argueing

Martin is a top 10 back, but no way in hell a top 5 back.

My favorite running back of all time is Barry Sanders, i remember watching him play, he was just electrifying, everytime he touched the ball he would make something happen.

Earl Campbell is TOP 10 for sure . No RB will ever and i mean ever have his size and strength combined with the Agility and Speed for a big RB . Probably half of the posters on this board are too young to have even seen him play

Thats exactly the problem, the fact that we wont be able to see a ton of these guys unless its highlights which dont count cause u see only there huge plays...

Jim Brown. I'd take either though.
