TNA Caught Telling The iMPACT! Zone Audience How To Behave

#1
Prior to Monday's TNA iMPACT! TV taping, members of TNA's production team addressed the Impact Zone fans with instructions about "how act like cast members" in the filming of a TV series and not distract talent from "telling a story" to viewers at home.

"You are cast members here. It's active, it's TV-14, please, I know it's fun to try to distract the talent up here, but they have to tell a story to two million people. You're part of us. You're helping us tell the story. Please don't try and distract the story."

The pre-show announcement comes the night after Genesis, when the iMPACT! zone totally ripped apart Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff's opening segment, the Band, Sean Morey, Mr. Anderson and many of the other "new faces" in TNA.

The director also told TNA fans not to "throw up gang signs" and not to chant "bullsh--" during the show, as it just creates work for the production team, who has to edit the bad language out.

"Every time you come here, I want you to be excited. What I cannot have from the audience are curses, flipped bird, and gang signs that I may not understand," he said. "Please, watch your language. Please, watch what you do. If I ask you to remove a sign, I'm not even sure the reason. Somebody in the truck saw something. We're going to be watching you. When we see this violation, we're going to ask you to move."

I personally attended Sunday's TNA Genesis PPV at the iMPACT! Zone and can report first hand that the crowd hated the "new faces" of TNA. Fans hoping to see Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, the Motor City Machine Guns, Awesome Kong, the Beautiful People were instead treated to Val Venis, X-Pac and Mr. Kennedy and made it very clear how they felt about it.

si any wrestling heads still here?

On that note, TNA is right, but the fans are also right about these new faces...

Fuck Val Venis, Hall, Xpac, the Nasty Boys (?!)...

Kennedy can stay, he's great.

^ Yes.

I don't like Kennedy as a wrestler. I think he is quite one dimensional. On the mic he is good but can also be corny.

TNA has been fucking awful since Hogan and Bischoff showed up.

Not that it wasn't fucking awful before they showed up, but now it's even worse.

they havent been that bad, yeah i agree Hall and X-Pac dont belong, and the Nasty Boys. Val Venis should be in there as a Jobber and put over the young talent.

TNA's problem is the writing. Vince Russo needs to go.

yeah Kennedy is tna now. he'll be on impact tonight.

there 3 hour impact was better than RAW's show the night Bret hart was there. his segments were the only thing good. WWE has gotten awful they need to get rid of the guest hosts crap. and they may by WM 26. they need a permanent GM and Bret would be great

The Nasty Boys beat Eric Young, Sean Morley beat Christopher Daniels, Orlando Jordan beat The Pope, Jeff Hardy hasn't been seen since his debut, Bubba the Love Sponge is a useless fuck, Scott Hall is constantly drunk and in no shape to wrestle, Kong is leaving, Alissa Flash has gone, Kennedy/Anderson is going to get a push he doesn't deserve... it's a mess.

WWE is doing some interesting stuff: you mentioned Bret and Vince, CM Punk is the best thing in wrestling (again), The Miz vs. MVP feud is shaping up well, they're pushing guys like Sheamus, Kofi and Drew McIntyre, and the Undertaker/Shawn Michaels program is interesting.

You just need to fast forward past anything involving the Guest Hosts, DX or Hornswoggle.

Anyone saw that amazing promo The Miz and MVP did two weeks ago? That was amazing.

"You can just stand there and...suck."

Yeah. Khali's character is an Hindu Playboy.

So yeah... Comedy character. Pretty much as 95% of characters today.

Raw sucks big time these days. I hope they push Miz and MVP's feud and they put them over, instead pushing these god damn guest hosts every night...

Wrestling sucks really. I've watched Wrestling since I was 4 years old and I am so bored with it. But I still check what going on out of habit. :D
