just to wonder about her final moments and did she feel any pain before she died and how a waste of potential a hard worker will never be able to aspire too *sucks air* :(

Are you serious? I was just about to say "That's sad" until I saw the military part. Hmm, it was her fault. She signed the dotted line. Sucks for her. Guess the recruiters were making the offer to difficult to resist.

Let her stay in her grave...she'll have enough time to think about what the signature actually meant.

Feel bad for Joh Walton, instead.

Do you realise how many "lives of promise" were lost in Iraq when innocent kids were killed?

What makes this girl any more special than the thousands of others that were killed? Cause shes young? American?

Im sorry she died and Im sorry for her families loss, but this is war.

No loss of life in circumstances other than natural is somthing I like seeing. But its job hazard!

Bank Robber, i wonder if you'd have the same attitude if it was a immediate family member of close relative/ friend?

i think you people are all missing the main idea of what nail_polish was saying, she never said that the girl was any more special than anyone else, what she said was how she felt sad reading about the girl and that she died, how is that such a bad thing for her to want to talk about?

and pennypacker i have a hard time understanding how you can be so heartless to her, yes she signed her name on the line and she payed the ultimate price for that action, but if you were to die doing your job, or perhaps just taking the everyday risk of driving a car, i have a hard time believing that you would want us to disrespect you in death

Theres a difference between a car accident and WAR, this story just highlights the potential thats being wiped out for a cause that isnt benefiting anyone but a few.
RIP
