The Wonderful World of Animals

Thought it might be cool to share some interesting information about aminals.

Tigers have striped skin underneath their striped fur.

Mosquitoes are estimated to have caused, directly or indirectly, 50% of all human deaths.

If a human being had the relative jumping ability of a flea, he or she would be able to jump over the Eiffel Tower.

Chameleon's change colour not to blend in with their environment, but based on mood.

When hunting, the polar bear will cover his black nose to render himself invisible against the white background of snow.

Rats can last longer without water than camels.

All creatures (incl. humans) share some of the same DNA... wich leads to one thing??? we come from ONE thing, and evolved diffrent.

just ignore me, i dont wanna debate over religions...

^^hence my point about scoping the situation in a different way.

ie. if margarine is one molecule away from plastic, then look at how tiny minute changes make such big differences to the structure of things.

2.1 million different genes maybe a fraction if you look at it in that sense. but you must remember that even minute differences make fairly big changes.
glucose, fructose and suctose have exactly the same make-up. but because of the differences in the way those molecules are put together you get differing substances.

the differnece between a male baby being conceived or a female baby is one chromosome

You can say that about religion, where did God come from? Did he/she just poof out of nowhere and decided to create the universe?

God by definition is the uncreated creator of the universe, the universe or evolution had a beginning therefore they must have been created, but God on the other hand had no beginning, unlike the universe God doesnt need a cause, time is linked to matter and space so time itself would have begun along with matter and space. again God on the other hand is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time therefore God is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time

You can say that, and no ones asking you not to question that. But at the same time, just because that question exists and you cant answer it, doesnt mean people should excuse it, and the creation thing, and just say there is no God.

No one can answer how life started, and no one can prove god exists. Its one of those things that can't be answered no matter how hard we try to find the answer.

Most people don't need answers and proof though.

take it this way, thinking of a way God was created is like thinking of an end to numbers

Very true. Its just something we cant comprehend.

I look at the whole debate like this, God is like a kid with an ant farm, he created the world for us, we cant comprehend God just like ants can not comprehend us. That doesnt mean we dont exist though, and that doesnt mean there isnt something beyond our God, but that doesnt change the fact that he is our God. Maybe he has his Gods or whatever, but thats irrelevent to us, because he is reponsible for us, so we only need worry about him.

Anyway back to the discussion... genes are cool, its interesting to read about. The differences between species. Keep em comin!

Is it a star?? is a planet??

oh wait! pooooof here comes god, he just came outta nothing, he knows everything, and we have made these lovely rules by saying that hes omnipotent, and that when we actually did mean a day when we wrote it down, it could mean seconds, hours, or billions of billions of years!, great guys, now we can control our people, by making rules on how they should behave by telling them if they do not follow them they will end up in something shitty, because they fear what they do not know! we made the first hidden illuminati ... great guys! now lets have lunch.

I thought this thread was about animal facts, how did it turn into a debate about God??- need to start a new thread.

"Mosquitoes are estimated to have caused, directly or indirectly, 50% of all human deaths."
-and apparently, due to climate changes in the UK, mosquitoes are heading this way!

Cant remember where i picked up this useless piece of info, but pigs have the longest orgasms during sex than any other mammals (i think its up to half an hour). - dont ask how the hell someone found this out!! haha

It's all these bloody atheist evolutionists. Kill 'em all, I say.

Hopefully they'll show up, complain about the weather and the food and go back home.

First time I heard it, it was six minutes. I think it's probably an urban legend.

lol thank you, just as i thought, you know a simple 'i cant answer your question teck neex' would have done it, you just like Glockmatic completely ignored my question and rambled on about something that has nothing to do with the point i brought up, but that is very much expected from someone who gets cornered. plus you asked the same question glockmatic asked about where God came from. i answered his question, and again just like him you brought absolutely nothing to disprove it.

ignore everything and answer this for me, let me rephrase my question incase you dont understand where im coming from.

do you believe that evolution had a beginning? if you do than do you agree that inorder for evolution to work it has to have no beginning? because its a fact that something just CANT evolve from nothing, if there was nothing before that one single celled organism which you claim everything evolved from than what the hell did that one thing evolve from or where did it come from? the only answer i can think of is it just appeared and began evolving which is very much impossible and illogical.
