Ive never heard about this but it certainly is interesting. Apparently between July 23 and September 25 in 2001 Red Rain fell in a state of India.
At first it was thought that the red rain was caused by a meteor break up throwing red dust into the atmosphere, or dust being transplanted from elsewhere, but it was found that the substance in the rain was biological in nature and not dust. Then it was thought it was caused by an airborn algae, but this was also disproved.
The substance is biological yet contains aluminum and has no DNA, both are very strange factors.
Certain scientists believe that the Red Rain may be extraterrestrial in nature, Alien cells, so to speak, and may in fact be proof of the panspermia theory that says human life was transplanted here from a different source in the Universe, or at least, the first cells that then evolved, a theory Ive always liked myself.

Read all about it, its pretty interesting, make sure you read the whole thing it gets better towards the end. Apparently 50,000 kilograms of the red stuff dropped in the rain, that's a lot!
What do you all think?
