figured i'd make a thread about the system since i just revived my interest in the system....reminisce about all the memories with the system, for those that had the system since it came out...i bought mine used about 5 years ago...so not that long ago....

and what games THAT WERE DC EXCLUSIVE!!! meaning they werent on other systems at the time, you liked... soul calibur, shenmue and sonic adventure still count, though

DC was and still is the shit. Sonic Adventure, Power Stone, Shenmue (best game ever), House Of The Dead 2, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Metropolis Street Racer, Soul Calibur, Quake 3 Arena -all classic games which I think I still have most of them.

Even the Dreamcast controllers kicked ass, so smooth and fluid with the dope ass VMU memory things that you can slot in. The Dreamcast was the first console that had major online support, I remember hooking it up to the dial up back in 1999 and playing Quake 3 online for the first time - Shenmue had some dope online extra features too.

I have an Xbox but I find the controllers to be stiff and clunky, the operating system on it bores me, there's only a handful of game on it that I like, and I don't want to pay subscription for Xbox live as I probably wouldnt use it a lot.

Dreamcast was the shit. Crazy Taxi was my favorite game on there and NBA 2K, an you cant forget about WWF Attitude.

ive been looking around for a used Dreamcast, if i find one for cheap im gonna pick me up one. i can get games cheap too. i do miss the Dreamcast.

never owned one, but me and a friend used to play resident evil: code veronica every night for a little while there so i played that game a lot. i actually just recently purchased the ps2-version which i am in the midst of completing right now :thumb:

Virtua tennis on the dreamcast was one hell of a addictive game, will have to dig out the console again to have a go on that again actually

I never had one, but I played Shenmue on a friend's. I only spent like 10 minutes on it, but it looked great.

And the controller was almost as bad as the XBox's, though.

the controller might be big but it fits perfectly in your hands.

the dreamcast was dope because it was a mini arcade in your home. outtrigger, daytona, ddr, house of the dead, all the street fighters / marvel vs capcom / capcom vs snk, all shmups and of course SONIC ADVENTURE 1/2

dreamcast kicks ass. last night i hooked it up and played bomberman online with my friend grant.

also played the simpsons arcade game which was perfectly emulated on my dreamcast :thumb:

i find it funny that you still havent realized that im actually a sony fanboy....and that i was never pro-xbox, i was anti-Gaycube....not even anti-nintendo...or..not as much...i'm also anti-Wii....ust for clarification..

If you would of asked me that 4 years ago i'd say YES YES YES but nah I played for a month stint around december last year. i had a racaseal lvl 112 legit.

bomberman online isn't online anymore.. i was playing two player with my friend at my place. it has 4 player support also.

only shenmue disc 1 can be found in english voice but you can get the EU version of shenmue 2 that has subtitles in english. that's the best you can find
