I thought from a whole Alfonso Gomez is the better boxer out of everyone there. I think he will be more successful in his career than anybody else there. He has the hunger and the stamina that I liked. Hope to see him in the future.

I loved this show, one of the few TV shows I make sure i watch.

I thought Jesse was gonna be a better contender then he ended up being, however the cut eye I think surely affected the second fight.


Sergio will be Champ real soon, watching the final fight he just looked like a champ already, he is much more well rounded then any of the others.

wonder if Season 2(hope there is one even) will be a whole new cast?

I agree I see Greatness for a long time to come from Alfonso, i think Sergio will write a book, become champ and either fight 15-20 times and retire or lose the hunger and get his shit kicked

I second this Gomez had the "Rocky spirit" he took apart baby face pretty boy with ease that baby face was ripped with muscle too an he proved he could go the distance against Ishe another good fighter but I felt Ishe could of done with more training instead wasting his time bsin' an losing the only reason why Sergio won is because Peter is a sparing champion along with baby face & Brent he wasn't even tested against Peter plus the fact sly was egging him to win cos he's italian.
If it would of been a proper professional fight Peter would of got DQ'd for clinching
I can't wait for Michael Buffer to announce Gomez Vs Sergio his voice is the best ring announcer I ever heard "Let's Get Ready To Rumble" he's getting on a bit now though how old is he?

Yes but the ref was very leaniate trying to give the crowd more of a show then a boxing match hype for none noing TV fans, look at how Brent got ripped to pieces & that other one got his eyebrow busted up a good ref would of stopped the match earlier.

wtf do you know? only 5-10 lbs seperates all the boxers i mentioned, did your brainless head know that? do you know how often boxers jump from one weight class to another to fight a contending boxer? do you know how many weight classes roy jones for example has fought in? from middle weight to heavyweight you dunce!, study boxing first and then jump in as if you know everything about the sport

Sergio will def. beat Peter Manfredo. I can't believe Peter is still there. He was beat, and came back. Seriously, I never thought the guy had it in him. He looks scared whenever he's fighting, and he's pretty sloppy.

If anyone could whup all of 'em , it would be Joey. Peter beat him but I think it was only because of the head-but. I don't know why they said Peter won...it should have been a DQ or something. I can't believe the fight wasn't canceled. I am going to miss Joey.

I remember Joey's first (or 2nd) fight, and he was killing the other guy. He wouldn't let go (much like Gomez), and would pound the other dude.

I really thought Jesse had it in him. I am not totally surprised that he lost to Sergio, but I think he could beat Peter.
